Palm Beach House Rules
1.Use Of The Property
The number of Guests occupying the Property must not exceed the number stipulated on the booking form. All guests must be listed on the booking form and the use of all third party suppliers will need to be pre-approved. The use of electrified musical instruments / guests own sound system / fireworks is strictly prohibited at all times. The Property is let as a private dwelling house/short term holiday rental and used for personal and domestic purposes only and cannot be sub-let to third parties. The Owner reserves the right to deny access to the entire party, or may require the entire party to immediately vacate the property and/or retain the full Cautionary Deposit if the above conditions are not observed.
As the Property is a private home there are restrictions in place in terms of group accepted. We do not accept hen, stag or party groups. Same sex guests must not exceed 8 in accordance with the rules of holiday letting. With this in mind you will be asked the occasion for your stay at point of booking; please note that if it transpires the occasion is not as detailed, we reserve the right to require the property to be vacated immediately and to retain your cautionary deposit which will be used to compensate the Owner accordingly.
3..Care of the Property
The Guest agrees to take good care of the Property, to leave it in the same condition as at check in and to be responsible for any breakages and items missing or any other loss or damage occurring at the Property during the Occupancy Period. The Guest will be required to pay for any such loss, damage or missing items and cleaning which is required following departure. All defects or wants of repair that may be noticed in the Property must be reported immediately. The Guest is responsible for the behaviour of all persons who may be resident at the Property during the Occupancy Period and for the condition in which the Property is left at the end of the Occupancy Period.
4. Swim Spa /Hot Tub
Maximum number of persons in the hot tub at any one time is 4. No alcohol or food may be consumed in the hot tub. You hereby agree to take full responsibility for your children and acknowledge the dangers associated with the use of the hot tub. Children under 4 strictly prohibited as it is dangerous for their organs. You acknowledge the owner cannot be responsibility for injury or death associated with the use of the hot tub. The hot tub is available between the hours of 10 am – 10 pm. There is strictly no use outside these times as it upsets the neighbours. You hereby agree to forfeiting your entire deposit if the hot tub is used outside the permitted times.
There is parking space for a maximum of 5 cars on the driveway at the Palm Beach House. The Beach House is on a private estate and the covenants stipulate a maximum of 5 cars on the drive at all times. There is additional parking on the surrounding private roads.
The Owner shall not, except if caused by their own negligence or breach of these Booking Conditions, be liable to the Guests or third parties for any accident, damage, loss, injury, expense or inconvenience, which may be suffered, incurred or arise out of or in any connected with the let. No term of the Contract is enforceable under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 by a person who is not party to the Contract. If the Property becomes unavailable or unusable for an unforeseen reason prior to the date of the booking then the Owner will use their best efforts to find an alternative property or failing which reimburse the Guest any monies paid. No discounts will be given if the guest decides to go ahead with the booking if a part of the property becomes unavailable.
The Owner does not warrant and is not responsible for the accuracy of any verbal information given or statements made by its employees or agents or displayed on websites.
8. Right of Entry
The Owner shall be allowed the right of entry to the Property at all reasonable times for the purposes of inspection of guest numbers, or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance during the term of the let.
The Owner or their employees or agents reserve the right to terminate the Contract and require, without refund, the immediate departure of all persons from the Property in the event of a serious breach of the terms of the Contract and, for greater certainty, these Booking Conditions. The breach may include but is not limited to any of the following events:
a)The house rules not signed on arrival
b)Serious damage to the Property which may exceed the damage deposit
c)A criminal or illegal act
e)Additional guests (including pets) not listed on the booking form
f)Unreasonable or abusive behaviour or any kind of behaviour that upsets the neighbours including playing audible music
g)Use of the hot tub after 10 pm
h)Excessive noise or anything which could adversely affect the rights of the Owner to be able to continue to operate the Property for short lettings or involve authorities or police in any form of complaint investigation. You hereby agree to strictly observing all the above terms including UK Noise laws
