Near St. Charles Ave Streetcars, Mardi Gras & St. Pat's Parades, Commander's Palace, Lafayette Cemetery No. 1, Elms Mansion, Pontchartrain Hotel, Buckner Mansion (American Horror Story Coven House) and a quick ride to the French Quarter. Historic home with high ceilings, fantastic location, patrolled by Garden District Security, no street flooding and located on some of the highest ground in the city. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families.
Traditional New Orleans Shotgun home with historic features intact.
Please review amenities as there is no TV or WiFi (there is public WiFi from across the street usually available that just requires the password from the business but I have no control over it). This is an old house with all the good and quirky that goes with it so do not expect perfection but do expect a realistic experience of what it is like to live in a historic New Orleans shotgun home.
You get the entire side of half the shotgun double to yourself.
I know lots of great places to go, fantastic places to eat and fun things to do.
Expert on New Orleans and Southern dining. Currently working as a licensed mental health professional and electronic health record consultant. Well versed in the NOLA traditions of having fun and enjoying life all while following Southern traditions of hospitality with good food, good drinks, good company and great music. I've also been known to indulge in the fishing arts and love cooking and feasting on what I catch.
