featuring a KING BED with brand new Kingstown mattress and quality 100% cotton bedsheets/duvet and two nightstands, walk-in closet, ensuite bathroom, reading area and balcony.
The ENSUITE BATHROOM is equipped a massage bathtub and shower room. Thanks to its skylight, you can enjoy the sunshine while massaging in bath, perfect for you to relax after a good night sleep.
We have installed big-screened Sony TV set, though bit outdated model.
READING AREA, with woolen carpet and comfy armchair to sit on, is surrounded by books, bluetooth music player and seaviews.
MAIN FLOOR (1232 square feet)
You can start a new day by preparing your breakfast in our well-equipped KITCHEN on the main floor. The premium brand of coffee brewer, toaster as well as essential cooking utilities and ingredients (unfortunately no coffee as I am not coffee drinker) are at your full disposal.
Leaning back in the armchair in the FAMILY ROOM, you can see the sunrise, very beautiful. From here, you can walk to our PRIVATE PATIO, where you can enjoy your family time in summer with dining table and chairs.
The sunny DEN/ BEDROOM is equipped with 2 brandnew good quality pullout SOFA BEDs (twin size), not only as sitting sofa but also as a bed for any extra booking after 4 guests. The den/bedroom is a private room with door and the curtain.
The DINING ROOM is spacious, to accommodate up to 8 guests.
The LIVING ROOM has an arm chair and a love seat and coffee table. We have many books for our guests to spend the quiet night by the FIREPLACE here. Perfect place to spend your time with the family.
The BEDROOM on main level has a queen-sized bed with nightstand and walk-in closet. Lots of drawers and shelving cabinet. The bedroom is just next to BATHROOM (with bathtub).
You could work (even during your vacation) in our LANDING ROOM, with writing desk and chair.
You can find the LAUNDRY/ DRYER shared.
You can access to our beautiful GARDEN, in its full blossom now. Sitting chairs and tables in our garden give you the option to enjoy our beautiful garden, one of the best in neighborhood.
2 cruise BIKES, in our shed, are prepared for FREE for our guests to explore the neighborhood, the beach and the downtown. Please bring your own helmlets.
The booking of 1-2 guests will only take entire top floor with the kitchen and dining shared. If a booking of 2 guests needs 2 separate beds, please communicate with me in advance. In this case, the guest needs to clean the second bedroom and its linens before checkout.
The guest, who wishes to lock the door inside for their infant or young kid, is kindly reminded to UNLOCK all doors before leaving the house or before checkout.
The guest can access to the house, on main and upper levels if booking for more than 2 guests. A booking of 1-2 guests is to stay on upper floor to enjoy massage bathtubs and better sea owes) and shares some public area on main floor.
We may have some renovation to be done in June~October on the lower level (basement). However, you won't hear any noise from below, or no disturbance is expected for any booking. Of course, the guest can come to say hello to me when I am there.
I have prepared a detailed house GUIDELINE left on the kitchen table, with all descriptive and illustrative details about the house and its appliances.
Important rules to be aware of :
Respect our neighbours as yours. My place is absolutely not available for parties at all. All guests must be named at time of booking and no additional people may stay without prior consent.
Due to insurance restrictions groups no more than 3 unrelated people can stay. Families or couples are fine. Please inquire before instant booking if you are not a family group
Cycling in the neighborhood is the best way to explore. So you are welcome to ride our city bikes (2). Just bear in mind that we don't have hamlet for riders.
In Airbnb community, we share the idea of "to live as locals". To me, wherever I choose Airbnb, I choose to stay in my host's place like in my own.
I wish to have my guests with the same philosophy.
Please ensure all lights, fireplace and heaters are off when you are not in the house.
GAS stove in place , if you are not aware please ask for instructions.
Shoes off inside the house
Please put used linens & towels on the hanging bar (not on floor)
Please put used dishes, pots and pans etc. in dishwasher and turn on ( detergent under the sink )
Please sort all wastes as per the instructions on the guidebook
