This beautiful room has both exquisite decor and art. It has a wide pocket door that locks with the original hardware, fireplace mantle, and huge windows to watch the world go by on a picturesque street. This room sparkles with thoughtful soft lighting, a tufted headboard, brand new memory foam mattress (according to guests it is extremely comfortable), and occasional seating. The great attention to detail in style and comfort creates just the right atmosphere for your next romantic break.
The house was built in 1812, but has a completely renovated interior! The house is just minutes from the airport. Once here you will find you seldom need a car. You'll be close to restaurants and dining within walking distance, public transport, and nightlife. You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the high ceilings, the art, the location, and the people. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (pets).
Walk to the farmers' market and make yourself a gourmet meal in the large fully equipped kitchen! It features brand new GE Cafe appliances and a large granite island.
Guests have access to all the public spaces of the house, including the inviting living room, top-notch kitchen, and private garden.
As little or as much as you would like. The owner Gary loves to chat if you're in the mood and has great recommendations on where to eat and what to do. Manager David is here to help with any issues you might have, and makes perfect biscuits in the morning. On the other hand, we have smart locks and self check in/out is your choice as well. The front door code will be programmed prior to your arrival and will be the last 4 digits of the telephone number you've provided followed by the check mark. Once inside turn the deadbolt to lock the door behind you.
Your room is on the left as you enter from the front behind a large pocket door. There is a key for the door to secure the room while you are out as well as the key to a personal safe in the room.
Gary owns the house and David helps keep the machine running smoothly. We have friends over to help from time to time so there's usually someone around to chat with, get recommendations from, and to help if any problems should arise. Gary lives on property in an apartment at the back of the garden, and David lives nearby.
The house has four guestrooms and three bathrooms. The bath is across the main hall directly across from your door. While the downstairs bathroom will be mostly "yours," being on the first floor and near the entry to the house, it is shared.
There is a steamer for freshening clothes and irons available on the metal shelf at the bottom of the stair.
