Thank you for choosing Maison Muda Residence and a warm welcome to Penang.
To help you get to know your host better, here's a little bit about myself.
Born and raised in the beautiful island of Penang, I am a typical Penangite who enjoys all the great food Penang has to offer. However, my goal is to become a vegetarian someday.
I work at Fun & FUNd Manufacturer for a living. As for my passion in life, I do a lot of fund raising to help neutering the street dogs and cats. I love animals and it is my dream that some day every dog and cat will have a loving home. My love for art and architecture led me to get involved in restoring, preserving, and renovating old buildings. I enjoy travelling and making friends from all over the world as I take pleasure in learning about different cultures.
I am also an avid collector of antique furniture. Whenever I come across a piece of abandoned old furniture, I will bring it back and restore it to its former glory. A little effort is all it takes.
As a dog and cat lover, I truly wish one day Penang will adopt the mass neutering project, since it is the only proven humane method to curb stray overpopulation. I wish for the day when our streets are free of strays. It sounds like a faraway dream now, but it is a miracle we wish do happen. Should the assistance of international vets be allowed in Malaysia, Maison Muda would be more than happy to work with other hosts to sponsor free stays for the international vet volunteers. If you ever come across any street animals, please do not be afraid as they are usually friendly and very timid. Even when provoked, it is really unusual for them to attack.
Once again, thank you for choosing Maison Muda and we wish you a pleasant stay.
