Superb appartment of 150 + sqm in one of Beijing's architectural landmark, Steven Holl's Dangdai Moma. The appartment is extremely comfortable to live in, very quiet, any time of the year. Size is perfect for two couples and can accommodate about one more guest or children on mats or sofa. It is minimalist, ecological, and bathed in daylight: clean and filtered air is guaranteed by extra filters on all the vents and air purifiers. Whole isolation has been amended to guarantee clean air, which is regularly tested by PM 2.5 device. Humidity and temperature is automatically adjusted. Extra large windows. It's an urban design experience in an amazing and trendy complex, with a cinema, a live house, a hotel, coffee shops and restaurants, as well as a green park and a playfround for kids watchable from appartment. Security is ensured by guards and doormen. Lama temple Hutongs' area by walking distance. Sunset view on western hills. Guests will be on their own but we'll be reachable as much as needed. I'm very happy to offer recommendations for visits and restaurants.
There's a grocery store in the MOMA complex open until midnight with bread and all basic necessities (eggs, vegetables, water). There are two coffee shops, Kubrick Coffee and Fiona Bakery. One cinema house (Broadway cinematheque), a boutique hotel (Hotel M or MoMc), and one great music live house (The Post Mountain). There are two restaurants as well.
Sanyuanli fresh market, Beijing's best, is a 10 mn taxi ride. One of Beijing's Ding Tai Fung restaurants, famous for dumplings, is 5 min walk from Moma.
BEWARE : Facebk, Ggl are blocked in China and not accessible without a VPN ( 7 days' VPN software like Panda Pow can be bought on the Net).

- No shoes inside: please take off shoes.
- you can moderately tap into the basic food stoks, but refill them for what you use (oil, pasta, water, coffee, tea...)
- refrain from using other than basics food and alcohol stocks.
- I'll usually leave one 4 liter water bottle for free for each 3 days' stay.
- Be gentle when using rollerblinds and curtains
- It’s recommended to use distilled water for cooking (and to buy it at grocery store)
- Moderate smokers allowed, as long as they are extra careful with ashes
- Handle with care the wooden desk in living room, it is an antique.
- Always use the two locks on the new bike when you park it outside.
