Our comfortable second floor bedroom, & second room for kids or extra guests; with nearby full bath is just 25 minutes from Joint Base Lewis McChord, minutes from the highway to Mount Rainier's Paradise recreation area, 10 minutes from the Western Washington Fairgrounds, and straightforward access to other area attractions.
We will respect your privacy and expect that you will respect ours. There is a keyed lock on the door to the primary bedroom to assure your privacy while away from our home (the second bedroom does not). We would also expect that you will respect our property.
We would like shoes off in the house. Slippers can be provided.
We love providing and sharing breakfast with our guests. We ask that our guests dress appropriately for our time together, please no underwear or revealing sleepwear at breakfast.
We have a small dog who will most likely hide for most of your stay.
One or two small well behaved dogs are permissible. If the dog is a large breed (50 lbs. or more) only one please, as dog hair makes cleaning more difficult. No cats, please.
We do not permit smoking or tobacco/marijuana use INSIDE our house.
No overnight guests that are not booked allowed

I'm a retired public health nurse, currently caring for 2 very young granddaughters....lots of fun and fatigue! Norm is mostly retired, but continues to prepare taxes during the season. My husband and I love to travel, one of my most favorite destinations would be Hawaii....but I absolutely loved the Mediterranean cruise we took 3 years ago, and would love to go back and spend more time in many of those places.
I can't live without my husband, my kids, grandkids, music (singing, specifically!) and dark chocolate.....and the 6th is coffee!
We love AirBnB traveling and enjoy visiting with people in different places...we've met some really fun and interesting hosts, and have stayed in some really charming and creative spaces!
We only started hosting for Airbnb in July of 2016, and have really enjoyed it! We've had people moving to the area, people leaving the area, business and pleasure travelers...all very fun.
If I had to pick a life motto: Act justly, love mercy, walk humbly.
