This is a grade ll listed street from 1890 one of the only surviving streets in the area of wwll. The Burgess Park is the lungs of South London and the house is by the lake entrance.
Everyone who visits the house feels it's homely nature which has been carefully crafted with unique furniture, the right lighting and the right music.
I hope you'll find it a special place too... Did I mention I grow my own tomatoes?
House is now a home with the addition of Cornflake; our Puggle.
The main door is seperate to the main house communal entrance as it's the garden flat (downstairs).
Communal kitchen; inbuilt coffee machine, microwave and dishwasher, dining table, three piece bathroom w/ rainfall shower and smart TV lounge area. Terrace contains a BBQ outdoor seating, egg love seat and firepit.
A short walk down the surrey canal pass (10 minutes) brings you to Peckham. Which Vogues latest issue called the "williamsburg of London". Brunch delights such as Pedler and out of city shopping such as Bellenden Road and Dulwich Village aren't far.
Walking North towards the city you are near Bermondseys speakeasy art scene, the mercato metropolitano, borough market, tower bridge and waterloo.
I've been hosting since September '16 and let guests define interaction level. I do work from home fairly often so I'm around for questions and tips.
Definitely a home and not a house or hotel. Guests immediately warm to the eclecticly furnished creative space.
It is not a minimalist flat (1890 period building) so has its quirks.
Creatives and young couples visiting the city love it most.
- Smoking outside
- No children
- Keep it tidy
- Use extractor fans
