Hox! An extra guide fee will be charged! Please read this before booking: - Experience the Lappish lifestyle and nature! Stay at a traditional riverside cabin in the wilderness. You will be accompanied by an experienced guide who takes care of your comfort and safety and who will guide you through the activities and the elements. After the pick-up and a 20 minutes drive, a snowmobile or a boat ride will lead us to the cabin. Please ask for the seasonally adjusted guide fee before booking!!
This is a traditional Lappish riverside cabin without the comforts of an urban apartment. A guide will be there to take care of your comfort and safety. This cabin cannot be used without the presence of a guide. The location is first reached by a snowmobile ride or a short boat ride (no roads lead to this cabin). The cabin is warmed up by fire and lit by candles. Cooking is done on a fire heated stove/oven and directly on the fire. Also the sauna heats up by fire. Drinking water comes from a natural spring and bathing water from the river. Please note that a guide fee will be charged separate from the accommodation fee.
The cabin area and the surrounding nature are freely accessible by the quests. The guide will help and instruct you with snow shoeing, cross country skiing, ice-fishing and snowmobile driving. Please note that the activities are dependent on the weather and snow conditions. The guide will introduce you to the traditions of sauna bathing in a fire heated sauna. This includes winter-swimming. A traditional Lappish meal (blazing salmon or sauteed reindeer etc) will be prepared. Our chances for seeing the northern lights is maximized by spending an entire night in such a great viewing location.
This location can only be accessed together with the guide. Please choose your preferred day from the calendar and ask for the seasonally adjusted guide fee.
The nearest shop to this location is behind a 30 minutes snowmobile drive. For this reason we will stop at a supermarket on the way to the cabin.

I just returned to my natural habitat, the sub-arctis, after spending a decade elsewhere. I now work as a nature guide. Thank you Airbnb for making some of my travels smoother (:
