Thank you very much for your comment. We always value feedback from our guests since it helps us to improve our service. As for the entrance, a shared staircase to the street, as we have, is quite common, both in Cuba and elsewhere. The entrance to the apartment is however not shared and that is what was indicated in the add (however deleted now in order not to cause confusion). As for the presence of your host in the apartment, our policy is to respect our guests privacy. However, Cuban hospitality is somewhat different to European or American and the way of socializing is more intense. Nevertheless, we take your comment seriously and will take it into account. Likewise, Cuban way of living is not as calm as in the US or in Europe, which means that the street is more noisy, people laugh, dance, and quarrel more publically. It is Cuba. About the water, access is regulated by the government and not in our power. However, we do have a water tank on the roof which can be switched on when needed. We will investigate if it has any technical problem. But this is unfortunately an issue that affects entire Havana and not only our building. We are of course very sorry for the incident that happened to you and understand it must have been a traumatic experience. Unfortunately robbery in the middle of the night can happen everywhere, in every city and neighbourhood. Our experience of Havana is that this neighbourhood is one of the safest, but of course nothing is ever guaranteed. This is the first time any of our guests have been asaulted, and we hope the last.
