Stay at safe and clean place during your stay in Kathmandu!
Dirty, dangerous and noisy Thamel? Or Patan where is far, far away from the city center?
Lazimpat is popular residential area for both foreign and wealthy local people because of its very clean, quiet, convenient and safe environment. The city center, Durbar Marg and Thamel, is all located in walking distance. Convenient location, safe and quiet area, super clean house with beautiful garden and good foods, any reason to hesitate? ;)

I and my girlfriend Siwon are Korean and we are living in this city, Kathmandu, Nepal. We met while travelling in India in 2003. We came over to Nepal after India and stayed several weeks. At that time, we never imagined that we would come back and live in this country. What a life!
I worked as a G.O in ‘Club Med’, an international resort chain, for 5 years after my graduation. I travelled and met all kinds of people from all different countries. I worked in Cherating, Malaysia; Harbin, China; Ishigaki, Japan; Maldives; Phuket, Thailand and Bali, Indonesia. Welcoming people from all around the world to those paradise and enjoying holiday together with them was part of my job.
After that wonderful 5 years, I got a good opportunity to stay in Kathmandu, Nepal for some project of a NGO. I stayed in this country for 1 and half years for the project, and during the time, I fell in love with this country. Well, more specifically, fell in love with the people from this country.
When my project was over, I called my girlfriend to come over and stay together with me in this beautiful country. She agreed, luckily, and we rent this beautiful house to run our business. We opened a café & bistro on the first floor and garden, and we took the third floor for our staying. And still three rooms are left on the second floor. What do we do with these spare rooms? Let’s welcome and host people from around the world!
This is how this story begins. And me and Siwon, we are looking forward to welcoming you! :)
