You’ll love our place because of the neighborhood and it's proximity to the Tucson Convention Center, Downtown, The Gem and Mineral Show, University. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
If you are looking for a place to stay during the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show then this is your place! Our house is a Craftsman Bungalow built in 1919 in Barrio Viejo which is the oldest continuously inhabited neighborhood in Tucson. It has been restored to bring it up to date but much of it looks the same as it did almost 100 years ago. The built ins and fireplace are in the authentic Arts and Crafts style. It's like stepping into Old Tucson! It has been decorated on the outside with murals that were painted by local Tucson artists and images taken from cultures that are a part of the unique melting pot that we have here in Southern Arizona. We do have a little dog that lives in the house, but she will not be there during your stay.
We would love to have you stay here while you are in town for the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show. Please contact us if your dates of arrival or departure are not listed and we will accommodate you.
Guests will have access to the entire house which includes a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a third room that includes a day bed. Washer and Dryer are at your disposal. Additionally the back yard is accessible and will have citrus ripe and ready to pick. There is high speed internet available.
I am available by text and phone as needed and will be over once a week to water the yard. I am always happy to answer questions or give directions. Otherwise I like to leave my guests alone to get on with their adventures.
There is no television at our house, but with high speed internet you can download Netflix, Hulu, or HBO Now super fast.
