This is a 3 bedroom flat with a dining room, a living room and a full kitchen, It is located on the 1st floor of a modern stair-cased building in central Dakar. I live in the flat and rent the other 2 bedrooms. There is a private mosquito-netted and sheltered balcony. This one has a private bathroom and a ceiling fan.
The room has a queen-sized bed that sleeps 2, bedside tables with night desk lamps, curtained in-wall shelving for clothing and shoes, and a private, mosquito-netted and sheltered balcony. Linens and towels are provided. The room is also equipped with a ceiling fan, study desk and chair. There is running hot water all day and night in the guest bathroom.
As a guest, you will have access to the living room, dining room and kitchen. You are welcome to use the kitchen freely and to keep food in the refrigerator and freezer if needed. There is a coffee maker and French press, and the kitchen is equipped with a gas range and oven. You will have access to high-speed wireless internet throughout the entire flat at no additional charge. Laundry and cleaning services in the whole flat are done 2 times per week at no additional charge.
As your host, I'll make sure that you feel at home, both in and out of the flat. I am happy to provide tips for moving around the city or any other guidance you may require. I normally work at home but sometimes my schedule is busy and our stay at the flat might not always overlap. Otherwise, I am happy to hang out for morning coffee or grab a meal in the evening. The flat is close to restaurants that are perfect for an evening out and and I may be available for a trip to Gorée Island or the Petite Cote.

All the windows and balconies in the flat are equipped with mosquito netting, and all rooms with electrical mosquito repellent.
Guests may coincide with other longer term guests in the flat, who are mainly visiting researchers or travelling professionals. The flat is in a building shared by one local family (on the ground floor), foreign professionals and student occupants.
Guests are invited to feel like at home, smoke only in their private balcony, systematically clean their dishes after cooking and keep the doors of the flat locked after every in and out.
