What we love about our place is complete privacy and serenity. 4 acres of lush land with exotic flowers & colorful birds. The building is new with tall windows to give the panoramic view of the majestic Makaleha mountain. A bedroom with a Queen bed, bathroom/shower with four jets, a sitting area & a small but functional kitchenette with a nice size refrigerator. Kapaa stream covers 1/3 of the property line. The sound of water can quiet the mind & restore the soul.
Flower Farm is unique since it is secluded while it is only 10 minutes away from the beaches, restaurants, shops...Enjoy Kayaking, snorkeling or get a massage in town.
Our property is situated in the East side of the Island which allows for an easy access to the North-shore, famous Hanalei, Princeville, and the South-side, beautiful town of Poipu.
This is not so called everyone's cup of tea. If you are longing to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, engage in outdoor adventures, experience stillness, unplug and relish with the beauty of rain-forest setting, then you are in for a treat.
Deepen your practice of Yoga and meditation by finding your spot on the 4 acres. Connect with the flow of Kapaa stream, be one with the flexible timber bamboo grove on the property, listen to the sound of the various birds... connect with Divine Grandmother Island of Kauai, the Garden Island. Allow her to embrace, inspire, refresh and energize you.
At night, look up, gaze and be mesmerized by the presence of the countless and bright stars in the middle of Pacific Ocean.
We highly recommend renting a small 4x4. Not only it comes handy throughout your visit to this magical and filled with adventure island but also, it will be much easier to get to the property, especially in rainy seasons.
The Space is not shared with anyone else but the duckies and the chickens.
You are the only guests access to the entire property when you book. A bedroom, bathroom/four jet shower, sitting area, kitchenette. An outdoor shower, outdoor bathroom, with washer and dryer.
Outdoor shower, private to use day or night!
The second bathroom mentioned on the listing is located under the building for easy access when one is enjoying the park like setting, outdoors. The washer and dryer is also located in this space.
We are always here to facilitate and assist you while on the island. We cherish this magical island and love to share what we know to make your visit more memorable. When we can, we try to greet you at the airport as it is always joyful for us to welcome you. When you book, send us your flight information by calling us or texting.
There are three friendly and sweet ducks on the property, they come to you to be fed every morning and they swim in the river the rest of the time.
One custom visitors will notice when going to someone’s house – removing footwear before entering a home.
Story behind it: "The custom came from the Japanese during the plantation days, when immigrants brought customs to Hawaii from their home country – no matter how weird people perceived them to be. The tradition caught on and today, slippers and shoes outside of a front door not only serve as respectful reminders but as a telling sign as to whether the party’s rocking or not. More pairs means more fun to be had! Any Hawaii get-together may have rows upon rows of footwear, each guest quickly kicking them off to join in on the action". :-)
