Enjoy a quiet, well appointed large studio environment within minutes to Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons. Stunning mountain views, varied dining options, family-friendly activities and nightlife are abundant. You’ll love the place because the slopes and hiking trails are so close, the outdoor living poolside, the neighborhood, the comfy bed, the coziness, the soothing sauna and well equipped kitchen. It's just perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers or outdoor enthusiasts.
Guests will be quite comfortable in their spacious studio-like apartment in the lower level of the home. Entrance is by way of the rear door of my home where you walk through to get to your apartment below. There is no private entrance, for me my guest is like having family come to visit therefore your entrance through my home is fine but you might prefer more privacy so this set up could make some guest uncomfortable. Yet, many have not been bothered by this entryway to the apartment. This walk through area is for my guest to use for skis, coats etc, or time in front of a cozy fire.
In the apartment there is a small kitchen equipped with coffee pot, toaster and many electric appliances for cooking along with a washer and dryer for your private use. The bathroom is spacious with a dry sauna which is oh so soothing after a chilly day on the slopes. There is a nice sitting area along with warm cozy blankets and lots of pillows to choose from.
Note, once more, the upstairs from your studio apartment is the walk through living room area for you to enjoy with a couch and a fireplace with enough room to store coats and equipment. This makes a great place to just sit and relax after a fun day on the slopes or trails. The couch could be used by another person to spend the night should the need arise.
If you require a date that I have unavailable because of cleaning please contact me before ruling out your stay. I need 5 hours to clean after a client has stayed so it could be that you enjoy a cup of coffee or wine etc. while I finish preparing your space.
Guests will enter on the east side rear gate (closest to the mountains) where there is an out door fire pit and BBQ grill for your use. Enter your studio apartment by way of the backdoor, which has a keyless entry pad, there is no private entrance. The living room area is accessed directly from the back door and is also part of your accommodations. The studio is downstairs from this area and it has a lockable door. The home has 4 levels and I will spend most of my time on the 3rd and 4th levels while your areas will be the lower and second level.
I enjoy being home, so I would be available for any needs you might encounter. Don't hesitate to call me for anything and I can be reached day or night by a phone call or a text.
I have no animals on premise, therefore you can expect a pet hair free environment. There is soft water only for the hot water. The cozy kitchen is stocked with utensils, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, hot plate for cooking and many extras. Washer and dryer is available for your use.
The heated swimming pool is open in June until September. Don't be afraid to ask to borrow a hat or gloves or wool socks etc, I am a skier!
- Smoking is allowed outside where a ash tray is provided. No glass containers around pool area. After 1 am it's quite time on Kipling Circle.
I love the snow and our beautiful majestic mountains in Utah, it's a great place to live. I work for a telecommunication company. I am just 10 mins from Snowbird and 30 mins from the Solitude ski resorts.
I enjoy swimming, biking, hiking, cycling, shooting pool, cooking, skiing and so many other active sports. Big and Little Cottonwood Canyon are just 5 minutes away, so a evening dinner in either canyon is a favorite thing for me to do. Millcreek is another beautiful canyon for hiking and biking, it's just 10 mins away. Salt Lake City is a 15 minute drive and Park City a 45 minute drive. All are places I enjoy.
I live actively and will never put off something for another time.
