I am lucky enough to live in the Cairngorms National Park, nestled on the banks of the river Don in the village of Strathdon. My family home welcomes guests to stay a while and enjoy our highland setting with lots to explore and our warm hospitality. I aim to make your stay a relaxed laid back experience with me on hand to help you any way I can.
A beautiful newly completed master suite with ensuite shower room & stunning views awaits.
Come & enjoy a little highland luxury ❤️
My home is a beautiful Victorian farmhouse built in the 1880's.
It sits in an acre of garden on the beautiful banks of the river Don..
Surrounded by uninterrupted countryside, beautiful views & walks from the door.
I fell in love with it and once purchased have been very busy spending time extending the property to make it perfect for you to stay a while & enjoy.
Its now completed bursting with charm, history and 21st living open spaces and now every one has their own swanky bathroom!
You have a private king size bed room with seating area to enjoy beautiful forest views & new private bathroom with shower.
We also have the scullery breakfast room for guests which has tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge for essentials like wine beer and haggis!
This is our family home so we are here to ensure you have a lovely stay.
We will be happy to help plan your trip as we know where all the best places are!
There is so much to see & every direction has a whisky distillery or a castle en route also great places to eat & drink.
Do not hesitate to ask if you require help with any part of your stay with me.
I do have two cute dogs who live with us. They will only say hello if you want them to.
- We are a non smoking home and would appreciate non smokers only
- We only ask that you do not wear shoes in the bedroom as we want the new carpet to be luxurious for all our guests
- If you could kindly close the garden gates behind you that would appreciated.

Living in the Cairngorms National Park is a privilege it's the most beautiful place I have had the pleasure to live in. I adore my farmhouse & my garden.
I'm an outdoors girl walk for pleasure with my dogs & feed my spoilt rotten hens & enjoy the beauty of my little piece of Scotland.
