Stayed at this location for a month. Photos need updating as paint, decor, and furniture have changed (furniture is similar)!. Beautiful street, safe building though very old. Elevator, laundry in basement, trash chute --though very small--and fire escape are great features. The heat isn't controllable as the building is very old but ACs are in the windows. Toilet has an issue as it occasionally continues to run and needs the handle jiggled 1st before it flushes again. Happy about the large closets and the amount of drawers in the rooms! Never had a problem with bugs(!) though there is critter repellent sticky tape(?) under the radiator and cabinets which is pretty unsightly. The bed in the room attached to the livingroom needs a new frame; it is missing a board to support the mattress and is very uncomfortable. The host was very responsive and helpful when moving in.
All in all, I feel it fit me fine for my extended stay as I am rarely home... but it isn't a place I would be happy to lounge in otherwise. It is an awkward set up as the "2nd bedroom" is attached to the livingroom through french doors. For the price, you get the location and safety but I would not entertain guests. Cable not being included doesn't help that too much either.
