Welcome to Wodonga! You’ll love my place because of the peaceful and tranquil ambience. Many people remark on the lovely energy and a real sense of calm.
My home is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. Many previous guests have stated that my home is an ideal stopover when travelling.
PLEASE NOTE: Sorry, my home is not set up to accomodate children or pets.
I share my home with a beautifully behaved 4 yr old King Charles Cavalier called Pippa.
I am a firm believer of spaces being what you make them. If you are after peace and calm, then my home is for you. The guest room is on the smaller side however you have access to the remainder of the home which houses a number of zen spaces from 'the sanctuary' with a luxurious day bed to the relaxing outdoor area which over looks the backyard and garden. This space encourages kicking back, relaxing with a good book and a cuppa or a cold drink and just chillin'.
Feel free to make yourself at home in my home. I encourage shoes off and no eating in the carpeted lounge area and bedrooms. My home is a non smoking home however you are free to smoke in the out door area or the back yard by the apple tree.
There is a single driveway beside the home, making this a shared space. If you would like to have your car parked in a secure undercover area, just let me know and I will accommodate. There is enough space to fit car and trailer. Otherwise there is ample and easy parking out the front of the home.
I am happy to be of assistance to you as much as possible, however I am equally aware that people like to have their own space and privacy. Just let me know if there is something that I can do to make your stay more comfortable.
Guests must like dogs as I share my home with a beautiful Cavalier King Charles Spaniel called Pippa. She is very friendly and loves company and pats.
Lovely quiet neighbourhood. Rubbish collection is at around 6.30am on Wednesday mornings. Very occasionally Pippa may bark if a person and dog walk past the front of the house however this is only occasional. The house was built in the 1950’s and this means that the original floorboards are creaky, however I believe this adds character to the house.
There is a comprehensive compendium in the guest room to provide you with all the information that you will need to use the shared home's amenities. I am usually available by phone should you have any questions.
I would like to welcome you to my home. I live a simple but busy life. I am friendly and welcoming and will do my best to ensure you have a great stay. I believe short stay accomodation needs to be in a relaxed and comfortable environment and I think that is what you will find should you choose to stay in my quaint and comfortable 1950's home.
I'm a non smoker, responsible pet owner of gorgeous Pippa and a kind and caring individual. I have two mottos in life, Never Say Never and This Too Shall Pass. My husband of 30 years, Anthony, and I love to travel when we can find the time.
