My place is located in a peaceful, yet central, part of Reykjavik (105). It is in a walking distance to the city center with its local attractions, museums, restaurants, cafés and shops. The private room is bright and well furnished. It is cozy and has a view over the front garden and the street. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. It is in a lovely residential area, one of the best to stay in Reykjavik.
My flat is quite central, close to a public park which holds an annex of Reykjavik's Art Museum. There are two swimming pools nearby (Sundhöll Reykjavíkur and Laugardalslaug) and good outdoors opportunities, for walking or running. It is also close to several places of cultural interest, such as museums, galleries and the city theater. The room has a double bed and can accommodate 2 people. Towels and washcloths are provided.
The guests of the private room share the kitchen and bathroom. Parking is free in the street in front of the house.
We speak good English, Danish, Norwegian and some Spanish and can assist with information on directions, transport, cultural events and places of interest you might want to visit.

Just like in another Icelandic household, take off your shoes in the hall and be your nice old selves. No smoking indoors and be considerate toward us, the neighbours and other guests.
This is a residential street and people are expected to be quiet after 10pm.
I currently lecture at a University. I like art, crafts and design, innovation, new media and computer games. I like travelling, the outdoors and horseriding. I am also keen on sustainability, gardening and world cuisine.
When travelling I have on a few occasions used airbnb and really appreciated the advice and tips on local interests and activities. When hoasting I try to be informative and helpful towards my guests.
