Avery, I know you're upset you had to cancel your reservation early due to your work internship and are upset I didn't refund you your money for the remaining part of your stay, but that's the way cancellation policies work on the site. You have to understand that it's a huge inconvenience to a host to have a guest cancel on such short notice, lose money and not be able to fill the space in an adequate amount of time. That's why cancellation policies are in place.
