My flat is a cosy second floor studio in a converted house on a residential street in Cliftonville. It's a mile from the Turner Gallery and just 5 minutes from the sea. The Walpole Bay Tidal pool is at the end of the road and is part of a quiet, secluded, sandy beach. The flat would suit a couple or close friends. There is also a single futon bed which would sleep a third person. It has recently been redecorated and is light and airy throughout.
The studio is open plan so there is natural light streaming in from both sides. It is very close to the sea - if you stick your head out of the bathroom window you can see it. Seagulls like to perch outside and have a chat.
I am a very hands off host, there will be times when I'm unable to meet my guests and have to find an alternative way of handing the keys over - either through a friend, by post or dropping them off. I have made a guide of the flat and the local area to help guests navigate their way around. I am always contactable by phone.
There are stairs to climb as the flat is on the second floor and there isn't a lift. The communal area is shabby, however the flat itself is newly decorated throughout. Please note that there is no TV. But there is so much to explore that you'll be too busy to care!
