My place is close to family-friendly activities and nightlife. I'm on two different bus lines and all you have to do is walk across the street to catch one. One bus line will take you downtown in about twenty minutes. So if you're in town for business or plan on going to the new US Bank Stadium for an exciting football game or a concert, this is an easy carefree way to go. The airport is easy to get to. I'm convenient to lakes, fabulous food, nightlife and bike lanes are right outside my door.
Comfy well lived in home that has a story to tell. This house was built in 1908 and has 4 stories. Has some old charm to it with a built-in buffet and stained glass windows and natural woodwork throughout. Ceiling fans with lighting are in the common areas and also in your bedroom. In your bedroom there is also a smaller table top fan if you enjoy that white noise for sleeping.
You can enjoy a relaxing bedroom with a queen size bed and ceiling fan. If you need an AC I would be happy to accommodate your wish. You are welcome to use the closet and dressers for those staying longer. In your room you will find snacks and waters, so please help yourself. I've also included an assortments of toiletries just in case you forgot something. We will be sharing a spacious bathroom that has an old claw foot tub with a shower. You are more than welcome to use the kitchen and all that comes with it. Make yourself comfortable on the deck while relaxing. In the dining room is a coffee maker (I usually try to have a few selections of coffee available) and tea. Also in the dining room is a small frig with a few items to get you started in the morning so please help yourself. You may find eggs, bagels, juice and fruit. You may also use the frig if you have favorites you like to have on hand or you've brought back leftovers. It's there for you to use!!!
I am here for you and want to make sure you have everything you need to make this a great experience. If you need something or have a question about anything please ask. I work full time so I am gone all day. There are 2 other people living in the house. Two of us have the same schedule of getting up early and off to work and out of the house by 7am so we need access to the bathroom from probably 6am to 7am. I might not be here but I'm always reachable.
If you are driving in, please park in the driveway. I live across the street from a nursing home which requires residents to have a parking permit. If you're stopping in for a short time and then leaving, there is no problem parking on the street then. Please be aware that if you have food in your room, my dog Cody will find it. His nickname is "Snoop Dog" and for a very good reason. If you do have food, please secure it otherwise he will claim it. Either zip your food up in your suitcase, or put it in one of the drawers. You are also more than welcome to refrigerate items
I'm a pretty relaxed host and if you leave a few dishes it's not a problem. With having a big dog, I have no problem if you don't remove your shoes. You do whatever is comfortable for you within reason of course. If you have a guest you need prior approval and will be charged accordingly. There are 3 of us living in the house so asking for respect of everyone's privacy and schedules. As a reminder I do have a No Smoking policy.

I have a turn of the century home in South Minneapolis that I'd love to share. The kids have come and gone and come and gone and this time around have gone taking the grand babies with them leaving the house quiet with room to share. I work full-time and love to come home and relax for a minute with my big boy Cody which is a husky, German shepherd lab mix and then get busy with household improvements and working in the yard. I also love to cook and garden. I do have 2 roommates but still have room to share.
