Piscataway Retreat is close to art and culture, public transport and Virginia parks. You’ll love our place because of the views, the location, the ambiance, and the outdoors space. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
The home is located on a preserve of 93 acres, on a peninsula, on Piscataway Creek. We have annexed half of our 4,000 square foot home. Our guests will have two bedrooms, two full baths, a kitchenette, and quaint eating area with scenic views, and a Living room with fireplace. And also a large screened porch for relaxing. (The space is separate, from our living space, but under the same roof. The entries and exits are separate and have different locks).
Guests will have access to pier, kayaking, fishing, hunting, biking, hiking, porch sitting, grilling, and boating.
We try to greet our guests when they arrive. Depends on the guests wishes.
We are an easy drive to Williamsburg, Yorktown, Richmond, and many local historical homes and parks.
We offer tranquility but understand enthusiasm. We ask that guests are considerate after 12 AM with noise. And absolutely no smoking inside. We offer front and back porches for that. We just ask that you respect our home as you would your own.
We live on a peaceful peninsula that we want to share with people from all over the world, as we believe it is a destination that will offer peace, reflection, contemplation, and as much or as little physical activity as guests desire. Friends that visit us here are often spellbound by the nature, colors, and serenity of this unique and majestic property. Whether you lean in the direction of the divine or scientific, Piscataway Retreat will change your mood for the better.
