Our place is in walking distance to restaurants, shops, nightlife, parks, St Johns River, movie theatre, public transport, and is about a 30 minute drive to Jacksonville Beach.. You’ll love our place because of the amazing location-on a quiet street just steps from exciting King St/Park St in Historic Riverside! Our bungalow is very homey with a cozy guest suite, charming living space and sunny patio!
The guest suite includes a comfy queen size bed with feather pillows, a private attached bathroom with a spacious shower, toiletries, linens, and a flat screen LED TV with a PlayStation 3 for Netflix. We also have hundreds of movies in our DVD library!
Guests have access to full use of the kitchen. We reserve a shelf in the fridge for our guests to use. We also include a complimentary continental breakfast including fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, toast and coffee/tea. Guests are welcome to all common areas of the house including the back patio!
Guests are welcome to use the living room, dining room and outdoor patio as comfortable! Free wifi access is provided.
Justin and I are a couple in our late 20s/early 30s who arrived to Jacksonville in July 2015 from spending a year abroad in New Zealand. I have also lived in Australia for 1.5 years during college, and both of us have a deep passion for travelling. We love to meet new people and are very welcoming to travelers from all over the country and world! We are both professionals, so if we are not at home, we are only a text or phone call away if our guests need anything or have questions. We are usually around on the weekends and are definitely willing to spend time with guests over a glass of wine or beer, but also welcome guests who prefer to be independent and have little interaction during their stay. We can help with recommendations for the area and if we are available we can even show guests around our neighborhood.
We are cat-parents to a sweet little cat named Willa. She is very friendly and social. She is not allowed in the guest room, but does reside in the common areas of the house.
We have been guests for many hosts in the US and abroad, and all we ask of our guests is that you respect our home, and leave the space the way that you found it. :)

I moved to Jacksonville in July 2015, originally from the Midwest. I have also lived in North Carolina, Australia and New Zealand. I love to travel and meet new people. I have stayed as a guest in Airbnbs around the world and absolutely love being a host! I am friendly, clean, respectful and open minded. I love having a glass of wine or pint of beer with great company and good food!
