As a matter of policy, we inform all guests of our "no parties" policy stated in our rental agreement. We cannot allow parties of any kind at any time on the premises.. Access to hotel facilities such as pool, fitness center, & squash courts are only extended to registered guests of the unit beginning on check in date and ending on check out date. Charge for lost, stolen or unreturned parking card will be $75 to replace. No more than 2 people allowed overnight in unit. No pets. No Smoking. Because we are a condo-hotel which people call their permanent home, and in order to maintain the integrity of the apartment for future guests, we kindly ask all guests to adhere to these policies as they will be strictly enforced at all times.

This review is much overdue. The space is perfect! just as described, the pictures are spot on accurate, clean and with all amenities needed, shampoo, towels, TV, Wi-Fi, a gym which we did use and the view was AMAZING! the restaurant on the 8th floor is DELICIOUS!!!! They offer happy hour from 4pm-7pm Monday-Friday, take advantage of it, you won’t be disappointed. My husband and I are currently living in San Diego, CA but we are originally from Florida and we were looking for something where we could relax and stretch our legs as well as close enough to be able to drive/walk to and visit family. There are restaurants and shops at walking distance and you can Uber to a club within 5-15 minutes and it can cost you anything from $5-$15. Definitely will book again whenever we are in the Miami area. Thank you again for everything!!!!

This was such a fresh, pretty room with a stunning view of miami. We drove a rental car all over south Florida during our stay and found the coconut grove location to be very convenient -- easy access to Brickell, South Beach, and Kendall. Would highly recommend to fellow travelers!

Great location, view, convenient parking, pool/hot tub delightful. Besides coffee cups and glasses, there are no other dishes/sharp knives, etc. The coffee maker is a keurig so don't bother to bring coffee grounds. If you're planning on using the laundry, there is no soap for sale in that room.

Daniela and Lorelei's place was really clean and great for one person. The hotel offers a great pool and gym with a view. It is however a bit far from south beach and other places I wanted to check out, but luckily uber was fantastic for that! It was a easy check in process and I enjoyed my time in Miami. Thank you

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend. The apartment was impecable, the location is superb and the hotel was great. Perfect studio for a couple! Next door to Coconut Grove, with lots of restaurants options. We will stay there again for sure!

I will start with the positives, Coconut Grove is a great place to stay and I felt very safe there. The hotel staff was nice. The bed is very comfortable. Now for my other thoughts... The room was very small. Once I got there it was clear that it was an average size hotel room split into 2. I could always hear the people in the other room. I was there over Memorial Day and the people next door played their music very loud every night. The bed frame on the bed sticks out so much and there is only a small walkway that I kept running into the bed frame and tripped and scraped my leg. At first I couldn't get the shower to drain, I told the hotel staff and was told maintenance would come if I waited. Maitenence never came. I had to figure it out myself. There were dead bugs and dust in the cups to use. I was only left 3 towels for a 9 night stay. There's a microwave so I thought I might cook some soup and eat it only to realize that there were no eating utensils of any kind. Don't worry, they can leave you salt and pepper shakers... but no forks! It's just a basic place, no frills. I wish I had of went the regular hotel route instead.

Dear Janna, Thank you for staying with us ! We apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered during your stay. Plead know we appreciate all feedback from our guests and wanted to take a moment to address yours: -Noise from neighbors: We offer our sincerest apologies for the Music disturbance caused on a daily basis by the neighbors. We were not aware that this was going on throughout your stay. Although this is a private unit, it is located within a hotel, and therefore it is not uncommon for this to happen from time to time. However, had we or the front desk been notified, the problem would have been addressed accordingly. -Maintenance Issue (Shower Drain): We will certainly follow up with the hotel staff, as they record all of their maintenance tickets in the order they are reported. As this issue was also not reported to us during your stay, we were unable to help you resolve the matter. In such cases, we tell all guests to notify us of any issues as they occur so we can immediately follow up with the hotel. If the hotel cannot fix the problem, we have outside maintenance staff that can come at a moment's notice and take care of any problems/issues that may arise. -The dust/bugs in the cups: Our cleaning crew cleans all items in the unit each time a guest checks out whether or not they think item has been used. Upon review of the calendar, I see the unit was empty for 2 nights prior to your arrival, which could explain your complaint. However, our units have been empty prior to arrivals before, and we have not once received any complaints about dust or bugs in cups. We are sorry you encountered this and will follow up accordingly. -Towels: In a unit of this size that is meant to sleep 2 people, cleaning crew will leave 4 body towels (3 in vanity drawer, 1 hanging on towel bar), 3 medium towels (2 in vanity drawer, 1 hanging on towel bar), and 4 face towels. We do offer a laundry room key to the coin operated laundry room on the 6th floor for guests who would like to have their linen laundered. -Utensils: This particular unit does not have a kitchen. This is clearly stated in the listing and pictures at the time of booking. The microwave and salt & pepper shakers were added as a convenience for future guests to use during their stay. We are sad to hear this was an inconvenience to you and will consider providing utensils for future guests. Please note: Vacation rentals are different than "going the regular hotel route". Regular hotels do not offer free parking but do offer daily housekeeping. We offer free parking and can offer daily housekeeping upon request for an additional charge. That being said, had you stayed at a regular hotel and encountered any of these problems, you would have had to make a call to the front desk or maintenance to assist you. As managers of a vacation rental, our contact information is clearly visible on the Listing so that we are able to assist you in these instances. In your review, you mentioned several points.... Had we been informed of the issues you encountered during your stay, we would've done our absolute best to address them immediately. However, as we were unaware of said issues until we read about them in your review, we were never given the opportunity to help resolve them. We certainly hope we shed some light on the points you mentioned and how we prepare ourselves to handle unexpected situations. In our experience, good communication between the guest and vacation rental manager, is key for a smooth process from check-in to checkout. I am a Decorator and Real Estate Agent who is always busy designing/creating something. I love meeting and talking to people and seeing what's new so I am always inspired. I own 2 Penthouses in the Sonesta Coconut Grove, that I currently rent out on a short term basis. I opened MIA Luxe Properties to help other owners manage their homes. Lorelei works with me and helps me with managing the rentals. She has over 14 years of experience working in the hospitality industry.
