So sorry for your experience. Our house is a simple home, and we try to advertise and picture it as such on our AirBnB site. It is also priced accordingly. It is intended for budget travelers and longer term stay guests looking for a neighborhood location. I was worried when I saw that you hosted an upscale AirBnB yourself that that would be what you would be expecting from us, but I thought the pictures and description of our home would accurately portray it. I wish you had expressed your concerns directly. There was a quick turn around from guests the day before, but we personally cleaned the house prior to your arrival. We did ask multiple times by email and text if we could assist you or make anything better for you, but did not get a response. Our guests the day before your arrival had accidentally damaged some of our towels (makeup from a performance), so we went out and purchased new towels and delivered them to you. We found that the washing machine was not working the previous week, and had a repairman come out during your stay to try to fix it. When he was unable to, we apologized to you and made our personal washing machine in the house across the street available to you, because we could not remedy the situation during your stay. We are new providers of AirBnB as the house has primarily been used for guest artists of our theatre, so we asked for feedback and did not get it prior to seeing this review posted. That's a shame because we certainly would have tried to improve your experience, even if we could not change the basic character of the house into something more to your liking. Based on your experience, I will go back and try to write and even more accurate description of the house. I will contact you privately to discuss further and to rectify the situation as best we can.
