First of all I´m really sorry for your bad experience. I´m going to take advantage of your bad review to clarify some questions for next guests.
I totally disagree with your review for the following reasons:
About veracity, I warned you with weeks in advanced that due to the major works outside you may experience some inconveniences such as noise, dust and dirt in the main entrance as I have been doing with previous guest that didn´t complaint at all.
If you see the map of the area you can see that the appartment is close to the Praça and the beach and in front of the small parking , so there´s nothing to hide about this and it can´t be a surprise to anyone.
About towels, I don´t know your habits but we only change towels and sheets once a week, as the rest of appartments and hotels do. As you know we live in a country that has to save water. Maybe you change your towels everyday at home but this is not the common use anywhere in the world. You asked me if we provide beach towels and I told you that we don´t. Maybe you were expecting to have extra towels to take them to the beach where in fact, you can hire
About communication you only warned me about your wifi problems on your last day (Sunday). I answered you and phoned to the internet provider. As I told you there was a disruption in the service which can´t be solved in the same day.
About the works in the above appartment, you only told me the day after you left and obviously there´s not much I can´t do about it.
I can understand your anger but to be honest there´s not much to be done, especially if you didn`t communicate all those issues on time.
You asked me for a compensation on your last day after letting me know about the wifi and I refuse to it as it was a external issue. Anyway it is a fact that some people has the bad habit of asking comensation for everything specially when abroad. Well, I have compensated guests before due to major works outside that took place last year and that I didn´t knew there were going on so I didn´t warned but it is not my policy to give free stays to everybody. This is a busines not a charity home.
Being said this I repeat that I´m really sorry for your bad experience and fortunately our previous guests didn´t share your opinion.
