Former Coffee expert from Ireland. Arrived in Nicaragua in 2010. Set up a woman's co-op, that continues to own and run the guesthouse business.
I also run a housing program for the women of the co-op. Building new houses for them and their families. To date we have constructed 2 houses and hope to add a 3rd in 2017.
Favourite travel destination was China & Nicaragua. Movies : Metropolis & how I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb. Music: All genres. Food: high quality and reasonably priced.
Experienced all types of travel from 7 star hotels & cruises to back packing. Enjoy the moments of being immersed with the local communities anywhere I travel.
