The Professors Cottage takes it's name from it's owner, Bob's dad, who retired to Dollar from Aberdeen University. I'm training to be a psychotherapist, which is a change from my earlier life, firstly as a forester and then a yacht skipper. I've also managed thr restoration of a castle, run a B&B and worked in the IT side of financial services.
I enjoy travelling with my American partner Heather. We explore places through enjoying food and meeting food producers.
We use AirBnb a lot, particularly when we're in America. It's a great way to find good places to stay in out of the way places.
