Ciaran and I have owned this cottage since 2001-we live next door. We fell in love with this gorgeous property on the banks of the Grand Canal and consider ourselves very lucky to live in such a pretty place.
I work as a Community Nurse nearby and my husband Ciaran is a search and rescue helicopter pilot.
We have travelled extensively and lived abroad in several countries from Africa to Saudi Arabia. We satisfied a great deal of our travel bug by travelling around the world in true backpacking style. Our holidays in recent years have been more sedate affairs but we plan to court adventure again when our children are big enough to tackle more challenging voyages.
We love entertaining and cooking. Our garden is another passion-lots of work but we love it. We are animal lovers and engage in help out with animal rescue locally. As a family we are happiest being active and outdoors.
We have decorated the cottage with relaxation and satisfying self catering in mind, to ensure our guests have a relaxing and memorable stay.
We are outgoing and will always do our very best to assist guests at all stages of their stay with us. We be available to our guests as they need us but are extremely respectful of our guests need for privacy-in summary our hosting style will be based on what each guest requires.
