Welcome to our bright and cosy 2 bedroom flat in the neighborhood of Amager. Located only 600m from the metro it's perfectly located between the airport, beach and city centre.
The flat is our home and we hope, you'll enjoy it and feel like home, too! The building was erected in 1939, and was originally inhabited by workers from the Carlsberg brewery. Now young couples and families reside here.
The flat is 54sqm, with 2 exterior balconies - one with all day sunlight perfect for afternoon reading, and a bigger one for dinner or relaxing. It also has a hammock, for naps after experiencing Copenhagen.
The cozy living room has a big chill-out couch with chaise lounge, and a dining area which sits 4 people. The apartment is private, but if you hear somebody mumbling somewhere it's just the neighbors - typical for a Danish apartment. The downstairs one has a lovely singing voice, though we rarely hear it.
The bathroom is a "Copenhagen Bathroom", which is a typical style in Denmark, where the room itself is the shower and usually 1 sqm in size - ours has a bit more, and shower curtains to keep the water from going everywhere.
The kitchen is nice and bright with a gas stove (super easy to use, don't worry), and quipped with fridge/freezer and microwave - dishwashing is done by hand in the sink, like a typical Copenhagener.
Finally the flat has a functional bedroom, with a queensized comfy bed, desk area and closet with full length mirror. Through the bedroom is the big balcony, and if the summer heat gets too much, you can open the balcony door in the night let in a cool breeze.
You have access to the whole flat, and to the green courtyard which has a sandbox and children's play area.
We will reply as fast as possible to questions, but we won't be around during your stay.
The flat is non-smoking (you can smoke on the balconies, but please dispose of cigarette stubs in the waste bin, not the plants).
