Key box code will be provided prior to arrival. Early a.m. check-in is sometimes available for $40, let us know if you want to arrive early. You have the whole apartment, the back yard, the dock, and the firepit all yours.

From Westlake Corner follow 616-Scruggs Road to the second left, Bremble Drive. This turn comes suddenly just over a hill as you pass Lovely Valley Road on your right. Signal in advance and be cautions. Go 1.4 miles down Bremble and turn right into gravel driveway immediately after white trailer home. Follow drive to home at end, take left branch at Y. This apartment is at the rear of the house and the door is marked "C".
Please drive carefully and watch for shy loose dog Emma as you come and go, my baby.
Boating? Jet skiing? Make sure you are legal! Don't get your plans ruined by not having the required training! Renters can sign a waiver but be sure to make a reservation and supply is tight! Bridgewater Marina

Bayview Apartment on SML
1) Protect the well-being of my dear Westie, Emma. Watch for her in the driveway coming and going; she likes to chase deer and squirrels. Emma is a rescue –dog and has had a hard life, let contact be on her terms please.
2) Please remove shoes inside.
3) Protect furniture and bedding from pets please.
4) Be careful what you flush and put down drains, this property is on a septic system, not a sewer!
5) Care for the property and its contents and the grounds.
6) Be considerate of the neighbors.
7) Always lock the doors when away.
8) Have fun and enjoy yourself fully!
9) Do not smoke anything inside the apartment.
10) Openly tell us what we can do better!

The apartment has a key box on the door jam between the storm and main door, if arriving late, be sure you have a way to light the box to enter the provided code. Once in, another key on a chain is on top of the fridge. To close the key box you may need to enter the code again.

GPS will take you past us. 1.4 miles down Bremble Drive turn right on the gravel driveway at the white trailer and follow the drive to the end. Go through the black gate, up two half-flights of stairs, and into the apartment marked “B”.

The temperature is controlled in the adjacent apartment. You can expect it to be very cool in summer and quite warm in winter. Supplemental baseboard heat is available if needed. Vents can be closed and adjusted if needed. There are also magnetic vent covers on the side of the fridge. Most guests are very comfortable. Communicate is you need adjustments please.
The bedding is always fully laundered between guests. The electric blanket is not, so please protect it from soils and pet hair.
TV instructions are on top of the entertainment hutch. TV has DirecTv, Netflix, SHO, and Amazon Instant. If you purchase programming from Amazon please leave compensation.
If you need any orientation or assistance please message us. We are very responsive. Otherwise you may not even see us; we want you to feel like you have the property to yourselves.
If you aren’t using the dock, the owner might do so on sunny weekends, but will leave once you come down.
If staying more than a couple nights, please plan on picking up your own consumables when shopping to help us control costs and ensure a low rate for the years to come; paper towels, napkins, detergents, soap, trash bags, etc.

Netflix and Amazon is (EMAIL HIDDEN) and password is Nikki123. Purchases made through Amazon Instant should be paid directly at check out.
The area out the door is yours fully private.
Please don’t discard trash or debris in the woods, parking area, or along the driveway.
Please brush the grill after use. If you finish a gas tank please let us know so we can replenish.
The dock is all yours, we will leave you to enjoy it in privacy. Tony might use the dock if you are out on the lake, but only if acceptable to you. No others use the dock. There is an overhead light on the dock, switch on the pole, be sure if you are returning by boat after dark that you plan ahead and turn this on to aide you. Anything in the dock cabinet is yours to enjoy.
If you are going to use the firepit please keep the charged hose near and ready and plan to attend the fire until it’s out.
The boat ramp is at the end of Bremble Drive, about 0.25 miles away.
You may fish from the dock without a license. Once you leave the dock you must have a license which can be purchased at Bridgewater Marina. (URL HIDDEN)
If you are going to boat and/or jet ski you must have completed a boaters safety course. If you get caught without, and you will, the fines are significant. Don’t let this ruin your trip please. (URL HIDDEN)
Your one friendly pet is welcome. There is a $100 charge per pet per stay. Please make arrangements in advance so we can add this fee. Please clean up after your pet, please protect furniture and our premium bedding from pet soiling, and most importantly be aware that standing urine on the floor will ruin it and the repair and charges will be significant. Dogs should not be allowed to sleep in the bed or on the couch. If this is going to happen please bring your own bedding.
Check out by 10 am! Late check-out may very well be available, ask if desired.
We pride ourselves in offering a very clean rental at a reasonable rate in the most convenient location on SML. Please help control costs by doing your share.
Please load and start the washing machine with the sheets and towels used during your stay.
Please load and start the dishwasher.
Please leave the apartment neat and orderly.
Please pull your trash. The dumpsters are just up Scruggs Road at the top of the hill on the left. They are very convenient as you come and go.
Please message us once you have departed so we may get housekeeping underway as soon as possible.
Please let us know what we can do better or differently to make the apartment more enjoyable.
Guests staying a week or longer are kindly asked to replenish or provide additional compensation for consumable provided. The reduced rates for stays of this length cannot justify the added expenses of providing laundry and dish detergents, shampoo, water, paper towel, toilet paper, et cetera. Thank you for your consideration and helping keep the long term
