Old country home with a bright and airy atmosphere. Located in the beautiful Bristol Valley, you are close to the ever popular Bristol Mountain Ski Resort, your choice of Canandaigua or Honeoye Lake, and miles of gorgeous hiking trails. If you are traveling with a boat in tow, there is plenty of room on the property to store it.
There is a real full size bed provided downstairs and either two twins or a queen size air mattress available depending on your needs.
Host available next door.
Excellent place for couples, small adventurous groups , and small families with older children. Plenty of closet space for longer stays.
No pets are allowed as we have two dogs that live in the adjacent house. Let us know if you have a fear of dogs so that we may make arrangements regarding their daily routine.
The entire house is available with the exception of the unfinished basement. You are welcome to sit on the porch and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful view.
Either myself or my fiance will be available for most of the day in the house next door.
For those looking at distances:
Canandaigua is 10.7 miles away (16 min. drive)
Bloomfield is 11.6 miles away (17 min.)
Honeoye is 11 miles (14 min)
Naples is 12.3 miles (16 min)
It is quite honestly right in the middle of the 4 surrounding towns. All main roads are well paved, with several scenic routes to choose from if you wish. All times and distances are estimates using a well known internet map service.
- No campfires
- Leave the place as you found it
So a bit about myself. I have lived in the same town my entire life. I graduated high school in 2006. Went straight to working some odd jobs, and now have a career in the management field at a local manufacturing facility.
While the job isn't glamorous, it has paved the way for my passions. On the weekends I volunteer at a cat adoption center, and have been doing so for at least 5 years now. In line with my love for cats (of which I have 2) , I also enjoy the company of a couple dogs, some reptiles, and have fun maintaining a planted aquarium.
Other hobbies include gardening, reading anything horror/sci-fi/fantasy/historical fiction/mysteries, sketching/painting, walking the local trails, shopping at all the local festivals, and dining at the nearby eateries.
As a host, I try to respect your privacy. If you have questions about anything in the area, I'm happy to help. I may not know everything, but I can point you in the right direction at least.
