Traditional double-barrel shotgun house. For rent is the 1100 square foot home on the left as you approach from the street. Upon entering the home, you will be greeted by a classic double parlor split into a sitting room and bedroom. A short hallway leads you past the main bathroom and into the second bedroom. Continuing on takes you into a living space and dining area that openly flows into the kitchen. The second bath is also located here, which may first fool you for a half bath. However, this lovely, subway-tiled room has a shower head and curtain! Out the back door you'll find a covered porch that leads to a open deck and a large, concrete back yard.
I live right next door with a roommate. When I am not working at my full time job I could be available for exploring the city by bike and for photography

Smoking not allowed inside the house, but outside is fine.
The house is not currently child-proofed.

Hello! Originally from central Louisiana, I have lived in New Orleans since 2013. This city truly has something for everyone; I hope you enjoy your visit!
I work full time as an optician and enjoy exploring the city as a photographer, bicyclist and sailor. One of my two brothers, Daniel, also lives here in the city.
Our parents bought this house in the Bywater to serve as their accommodations for their frequent visits to the city. I manage this listing on their behalf for those times in which they are away. Thank you for your consideration and have a wonderful time in New Orleans!
