Nestled in Suffolk Park, this luscious room offers a place to unwind, rest and plan your days in and around Byron Bay.
Relax in the hot tub with a glass of red, brush up on your piano or guitar skills or join us for some conversation and good cheese.
Cats and a dog come pre-supplied should you require non-human companionship.
Three minutes drive to the beach or eight minutes to the town centre - an easy ride by bicycle.
For your year-round comfort we have central ducted air conditioning and heating. Large, open dining and lounge areas mean you can always find somewhere quiet to read or relax or to sit around and chat. You will often find Charlie (the dog) or one of our cats wandering about, and should you leave your door open at night you're likely to have a feline bed-warmer offer their services.
Essential life support services (Espresso machine, WiFi, Netflix) are all included.
You can enjoy full use of the hot-tub - it's great during the day, and fantastic under the stars at night!
We also have a baby grand piano and other instruments which you are welcome to use, and the kitchen is available for breakfast, drinks etc.
We both study and work from home so we will usually be around during your stay. The level of interaction is entirely up to you - we're happy quietly going about our day or spending time with you chatting and suggesting places to see and things to do.
We have a dog and four(!) cats. Yes, we might be crazy cat people. Charlie the dog is a Cavoodle (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel / poodle cross) so he is low-allergy and very friendly.
- Smoking permitted in outside areas
- Vegetarian Household
Vulcanised by a shared love of red wine and cheese, Melinda and Ashley are variously referred to as curiously interesting, difficult to explain and utterly silly.
We'll try not to sing opera while you're around, unless you like opera in which case we'll probably bother you incessantly. Just as happy finding a quiet corner to read in or enjoying ludicrous conversation as we work to finish the world's wine before it goes out of fashion. We're excited to meet new and interesting people as guests or hosts.
