Welcome to your home away from home! We invite you to come stay with us in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood in the heart of Broken Arrow, right by the Rose district, and only minutes from the highway that leads to Tulsa and RHEMA church.
This room is large, bright, and spacious, with a comfortable pillow top queen-sized mattress perfect for 2. The room lies at the end of the hallway on the far side of the house. It has a private bath attached to it with his & her sinks, a shower head that's placed higher than usual so you won't have to duck while taking a shower (perfect for tall, Dutch people like us!), and a huge walk-in closet. We recently put in a twin-sized bed to accommodate a 3rd guest and an air mattress is available upon request. The bedroom door has a lock with a key that will be given to you while you're staying with us. Towels will be provided, and we always keep shampoo and conditioner in the shower for guests to use. A hair dryer and iron are available upon request.
You will have full access to the living/dining room, kitchen, and laundry room. You may our fridge to store some of your own food, but please only use what's yours. Please note that we do not have a working TV.
My husband, Henk, and I are from the Netherlands and came to Broken Arrow in 1992 to attend Rhema Bible Training Center. Ever since then, we consider this our second home. We now try to spend as much time as possible in this peaceful place in Green Country, traveling back and forth between the Netherlands to see our grandkids. We enjoy seeing the world and like to get to know people. We like to give our guests the privacy they need, but also want them to feel welcome in this home as if it's their own.
On the front door of the house is a lockbox with the key to the house inside it. This allows you to go and come whenever you please whether we're out running errands or not. We will give you the code once your booking is confirmed with us.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This is not a 5-star hotel. Please don't come here expecting that it is because we might fall short of your expectation. It's an older house, and though we love it very much it does have some cracks in the wall here and there. What we DO offer is a welcoming, peaceful, and clean home where we want to make you feel like family. We're very easygoing and hope you will feel at home here.
- Please be respectful of the other guests in the house.
