The cabin was clean and well presented, with comfortable furniture and a reasonably equipped kitchen. The garden furniture was excellent for those warm days sitting outside in the garden overlooking the little pond. The location of the cabin is in a quiet enclosed bungalow park, ideal for families with children as it was away from traffic. The location was also good for cycling or walking as there are many cycle and walking paths through the woods or open farmland. It is a short drive, or cycle or walk to the town centre of Putten, plenty of shops and many supermarkets. We used the local swimming pool, which was good for a family swim, with waterslides and shallow water ( a baby pool also there) and if you want a lane swim there is a separate pool for that, also jacuzzi and sauna there. The mainline train station is about 10 minutes walk. Amsterdam is in easy reach (Noord Markt on a Saturday is fantastic), by train or by car, took us 45 minutes to the outskirts, then onto the Metro. We visited Hans & Grietje Pannenkoekhuis in Zeewolde, worth a visit if you have children, a free massive playpark, a magical fairy castle to eat in, and the Apple Pie is superb! We visited the Tulip fields of Gelderland too, the kids loved the colours. We also cycled to Strand Nulde a riverside beach about 20 minutes, and a MacDonalds 20 minutes down the road at Nulde Horst, if you take the car the parking is 4 euros. We spent 2 weeks at the cabin and it was very restful and lots of interesting things to do locally and far, we ventured to Texel on the island in Noord Holland, quite a drive but well worth it! We also visited Burger's Zoo near Arhem, less then an hour in the car to get there.
Marijke and her family were helpful and friendly, all communication was timely before the visit and during the time we were there, and they organised the check and check out perfectly.
I can thoroughly recommend this accommodation to everyone, a good place for a rest or a place to explore the area from :-)
