Uniquely elegant apartment in the most ideal in lovely Gardens, just a stone's throw away from popular and vibey Kloof Street with its many restaurants, bars, coffee shops and boutique stores. This apartment is close to The Bombay Bicycle Club, Mellisa's, De Waal Park and Table Mountain. You’ll love my place because of the location and the coziness. A great apartment for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, friends and families (with kids).


Kenwood Court is one of the quintessential Victorian buildings that are a unique feature of the Cape Town landscape. Built in the early thirties, it has been well looked after over the years.

The apartment has beautiful wooden floorboards and high ceilings throughout, as well as a gorgeous "Juliet" balcony looking out over the city towards the harbour, from where you can enjoy the sun rising whilst having your morning coffee. Both the sitting room and main bedroom open onto the balcony.

It comprises two comfortable bedrooms, one with an en suite bathroom with large shower and the other with a separate, full bathroom with Victorian bath.

The fully equipped kitchen is open-plan with a kitchen counter/eating area separating it from the lounge area, and it is from here that you get untrammelled views of Table Mountain.

It includes a parking bay behind an electric gate as well as Wifi.


The flat is on the upper floor, top left, which you can see in the photograph of the building (with Table Mountain in the background).
Plenty of parking is available on the street outside too.


You can get in touch with me at any point during your stay. If you need something fixed, want to book a tour, require an airport transfer or would just like some local tips, I'm your man!


The flat is close to just about everything you could need! It is not far from MyCitibus points but Uber is also very active in Cape Town. Numbers are available in the flat for Rikki and Excite taxi services.

There is a Seven11 store a short walk away for basic items as well as an ATM, and right opposite the road from these is a trendy hair salon named Barbarella Hair. Down Kloof Street are boutiques and eateries (I recommend Melissa's or Manna Epicure for a scrumtious breakfast or hearty lunch!). If you walk down Kloof Street it eventually becomes the historic Long Street, with plenty more to see. A dentist is one block up the road and a very good private hospital is just 2 minutes drive away.

Please note that there is a Children's Home across the road and you may hear them gathering to go off to school in the mornings but it is a happy sound!


Cape Town (and South Africa) is in the midst of a severe drought. Please be cautious and conservative with water use.

Some small things that each individual can do to help:
-Keep Showers as short as possible.
-Turn off the taps when not actually using the water (ie while brushing teeth, shaving, soaping up, washing hair or dishes.)
-While heating up the water, collect excess in a bucket/bowl and use for cleaning.
-Make sure you put a full load into the washing machine and dishwasher before starting a wash cycle.

The apartment is at a super location next to Kloof Street. It is atmospheric and very clean. We had a great time staying here again!

We stayed at Max's place for a business trip for a week and couldn't be more satisfied with the place. The place is located centrally and is in close proximity to all the restaurant and nightlife options. It's a beautiful apartment and is very well kept and maintained. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to travel to Cape Town. Max is a great host and was very flexible with our checkin and checkout.

Very central, safe and secure apartment in a very nice part of Gardens. Bedrooms and bathrooms separated by the living room and balcony was ideal for more privacy and the view of Devils Peak and Table Mountain from the kitchen window was stunning. Communication with Max was quick and accurate. We would stay there again.
