Double room in quiet, tidy, recently decorated 2-bed flat (we live in the other bedroom). Shared use of bright , spacious living room and newly decorated bathroom and kitchen. Great transport links to south and central London. Unlimited fibreoptic wifi.
The building is a purpose-built 1930's Art Deco block of 50 flats. It is shaped like a square-doughnut with a central open-air atrium/courtyard, and double aspect flats looking out both into the courtyard and to the outside of the building. It is a lovely building, reminiscent of a Miami/European holiday apartment block, and the building even featured in Vogue! The residents of the flats own the freehold of the whole building so are responsible and motivated to keep it nice and clean. Most of the residents are aged 25-35 and are young professionals, couples or first-child families. It is a very quiet block, and in our flat in particular you can't hear any noise from neighbours at all!
The room available is a double bedroom with underbed storage, bedside table, large sturdy clothes rail, shoe rack and a large window giving lots of natural light.
Our flat is on the 3rd floor and has two double bedrooms, a large living room, kitchen and bathroom. It has been redecorated since we moved in including:
- new central heating, radiators, towel rail and thermostatic power shower
- real wood floor and newly painted walls in living room and hallway
- wallpaper in the larger bedroom
- new carpets in both bedrooms
- new lights in large bedroom and hallway
- shelves in the kitchen
- new curtains in smaller bedroom and living room
The bathroom and kitchen were recently redecorated and fitted out prior to us buying it in December 2014 and are in very good condition. The kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, microwave, oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine etc. The living room has two sofas, a dining table and two benches, and a new Smart flatscreen TV. The bathroom has a powerful shower, bath, sink and toilet. There is unlimited fibreoptic broadband throughout the flat.
