Enjoy your own floor in this lovely attic room, with it's ensuite WC. Suitable for solo travellers who need absolute peace and quiet, or sociable students getting settled into Brighton life. This is a great place to get away from it all, two blocks from the sea. Central Brighton via the bus is twenty minutes, and there are stops at the top and bottom of the road, with buses every few minutes. If you have a car, there are no parking restrictions on our street, so you can park for free!
It's a lovely quiet room at the top of the house, with far reaching views of sunsets and gardens. The room comes with it's own private bathroom and a really comfortable double bed. All our guests tell us they get a great night's sleep up there!
You can use the dining room and kitchen and we love to mix with our guests over a glass of wine in the evening. We have a shower and bath on the first floor, which you can use and a huge garden with plenty of space to walk and sit. We offer guests use of the kitchen and dining room for preparation of light meals such as breakfast and lunch but ask that you work around our schedule as we have a small child.
All our guests are made welcome with their own clean linen, towels and soap. We love to chat about their country and our daughter Lily loves to meet you too! If you're in need of entertainment, we're not short of it with her around, she is very funny and loves to make everyone happy.
The only other member of our family you might encounter is Mr Pea, our cat. He is, as Lily says, "an old man now" and we have to take care of him by locking him in the kitchen at night, so he doesn't keep us all awake with his prowling!
Please arrive before 7pm. No parties, drugs or alcohol. This is a family house so please respect that we need quiet at night as we have a small child.

A keen traveller and explorer of life in new places! I am an artist/photographer based in Brighton where I have lived for the past 10 years. I like to think I'm the prefect guest, particularly as my husband, Steve is an avid cleaner! We're both really considerate about noise and having owned our own property for many years, we care alot about other people's belongings. My favourite travel destinations are probably New England (USA) especially Provincetown but anywhere on Cape Cod, Fire Island off Long Island outside of New York, the backwaters of Kerala and the mediteranean beaches of France. I love dunes, fishermans' huts and the sea in all it's colours and forms. I suppose that's why I live in Brighton!!
