A great apartment for great expectations. 2 bedrooms and a large living-dining room to get together and the day comfortably end. At a joint meal, in the well-equipped kitchen prepared yourself or a glass of wine.

The characteristics of the apartment are bright, spacious and modern furnished. The location could hardly be more historical. On the former border, close to the Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag building and the new MALL OF BERLIN. Modernity and History.


2 large bedrooms each with a double bed (160x200 cm), 1 living / dining room, kitchen and bathroom. A bright winter garden with a great view is the highlight of the apartment.


The city of Berlin will charge an accommodation tax of 5% of the booking sum. From February 2017 we have to charge this tax to our guests. The tax is not included in the room rate and is due and payable upon arrival.

We absolutely loved our stay at Katarina's place and couldn't recommend it highly enough. It is in a brilliant location, centrally located to walk to all central berlin's sites. The apartment itself is very large and very bright with plenty of space to store your things. The apartment is accessible by lift and there are no steps to get into the building making it perfect for prams, luggage etc. Agree re curtains not keeping out the light but I enjoyed waking up with the sun. The apartment agent within the building made the check in and check out process seamless. Wonderful experience!

A fantastic apartment located perfectly for walking to Brandenburg Gate, Museum Island, Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie etc. Ideally situated for public transport if going further afield. Spacious, clean and well furnished apartment. Wonderful.

This apartment is in a good location - we walked everywhere from here. There is a very convenient grocery store (HIT Markt) a couple of blocks down. It is well suited to a family with two bedrooms and a glass-walled open sitting area between the two bedrooms. Although it has more of a corporate feel (as others have said), it is large and clean and has a well equipped kitchen. It is a very bright apartment (which I like) but sleeping in might be difficult for some because the window coverings don't block light. (Just bring a sleeping mask and you will be fine.) It woke us early but we liked the idea of waking early and having more time to visit this historic city!

Our family of 4 stayed in this very spacious apartment for 9 days. The apartment complex was built in the 1980s in the old East Berlin, which may explain its somewhat drab exterior. However, the interior of the apartment is bright and airy, with large windows on all walls. We were delighted with the apartment, as it is very well located with easy access to transportation including the U- and S-Bahn trains, and the 100 and 200 bus routes, which conveniently go past many tourist attractions. The Brandenburg Gate, Holocaust Memorial, the Reichstag, Gendarmenmarkt and Checkpoint Charlie are within an easy walk of the apartment. A slightly longer walk (around 20-25 minutes) gets you to the museum island, Berliner Dom and Hackerscher Markt, and these places can also be reached easily by public transport. Also located within 2 blocks are a large supermarket and the Mall of Berlin. There are a number of restaurants nearby but no nightlife and the street is quiet. A point of interest - the car park of the apartment complex is built on top of the remains of Adolf Hitler's bunker. An information board on the street behind the apartment explains where it was located. The two bedrooms are large with comfortable beds, but are connected via a glass-walled sunroom so it is perfect for families, particularly with young children, but may not be as private for adult couples staying here. Curtains do not block out much light, so bring eye shades if early light disturbs you - the apartment faces east. The bathroom is small but functional and the washing machine is located here. Bring washing powder, as none is supplied. There is no clothes dryer but a drying rack is supplied. Katarina is a very communicative host and responded quickly to queries. The apartment is managed by an agency located around the corner of the next block, which makes checking in and out very convenient. Katarina provided a lot of advice on transport options from the apartment, how to travel from the airport, and details about the check in process. We enjoyed our stay very much and can highly recommend this apartment as a great base from which to explore Berlin.

Excelente ubicación, apartamento muy amplio, bien cuidado y bien equipado. No conocimos a la anfitriona pero nos dio todas indicaciones para reclamar las llaves en una oficina que administra el apartamento.

Ich komme ursprünglich aus Greifswald und nicht aus Berlin. Doch Berlin berührt und fasziniert mich. So lebe ich die Hälfte des Jahres in Berlin und die andere Häkfte in Greifswald. Meine Interessen gelten dem Design, der Kunst, dem kreativen Handwerk und der Nachhaltigkeit.
Mein Mann und ich wünschen uns tolle Gäste, die offen für Neus sind und genügend Neugier für das Leben mit bringen. So erschließen sich dem Betrachter die Geheimnisse beider Städte fast von allein... Unsere Gäste sollen für die Dauer ihres Aufenthaltes ein zweites Zuhause finden und sich in unseren Ferienwohnungen wohlfühlen :-). Da wir mittlerweile mehrere Ferienwohnungen in Berlin anbieten, schaffen wir es nicht mehr, unsere Ferienwohnungen persönlich zu betreuen. Deshalb haben wir das Management für Berlin in professionelle Hände gegeben. Den Empfang, die Formalitäten, die Schlüsselübergabe, den check out sowie die Betreuung unserer Gäste während des Aufenthaltes übernimmt nun unser Servicebüro. Die Mitarbeiter sind versiert und kennen sich bestens in dem Gebäudekomplex aus, da sie dort bereits auch andere Wohnungen verwalten. Generell sind wir aber jederzeit telefonisch erreichbar.
Die Wohnung in Geifswald betreuen wir selbst.

I am originally from Greifswald and not from Berlin. But Berlin touches and fascinates me. So I live half the year in Berlin and the other half in Greifswald. My interests are in design, art, creative craftsmanship and sustainability.

My husband and I wish great guests, who are open for new and bring enough curiosity for the life. Thus the viewer secures the secrets of both cities almost alone ... Our guests should find a second home for the duration of their stay and feel comfortable in our apartments :-).

Since we now offer several apartments in Berlin, we are no longer able to look after our apartments personally. That is why we have given the management for Berlin in professional hands. The reception, the formalities, the key handover, the check out as well as the care of our guests during the stay takes over now our service office. The employees are well versed and know each other well in the building complex, since they already manage other apartments there.

In general, however, we are reachable by telephone at any time.

We will take care personally of the apartment in Geifswald.
