Located near Kotobabi Police Station and Mamobi Hospital the property is very central and ideally situated for access into the City as well as Airport Residential Area.
Nice local neighbourhood and you’ll love the place because of the views. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers.
The 4 bedroom apartment offers free broadband internet access and AC (against extra charge).
Furniture and fittings were chosen with an African feel for a comfortable home in mind. Therefore we've used 'all local' products where possible.
Guests have access to a fully fitted guest kitchen and lounge as well as balcony.
Please generally inform us about your EXPECTED ARRIVAL time especially if you're arriving AFTER 20h (8pm). If you're travelling by plane please provide flight details so that we can check for delays.
Against a small charge we can arrange pick-up from the airport.
We are sharing the premises with guests, however, there are 2 kitchens, lounges, and balconies, so that guests (and us!) can choose the degree of privacy and interaction.
A cash deposit of USD100 is payable upon arrival. It will be fully refunded upon proper hand-over of the room when checking out.
The room rate quoted is inclusive the use of electricity but WITHOUT use of AC. Electricity cost in Ghana is significant and therefore it is not possible to 'fairly' quote an 'all-inclusive' rate. It is the guest's choice to book the room with or without AC. If AC is used a charge of USD 5/ per day will apply.
In case of electricity outages there is a generator available. Guests can opt to use it or not against reimbursement of diesel cost.
'The city never sleeps' and therefore as for any trip to Ghana we recommend to carry earplugs on you to make sure that you'll be able to enjoy restful sleep whenever YOU need it.
IMPORTANT! HOW TO FIND US (DIRECTIONS):
If you are a first time visitor then it is very important to know that NOBODY (this includes taxi drivers) in Accra is familiar with street names. The blue signs indicating street names are a very recent development and may help you to find your way around, however, they are totally alien to locals.
Therefore please make sure that when using public transport/ taxis you use landmarks rather than addresses when describing your destination, e.g. for our apartment's location: Pig Farm/ Kotobabi (area), Abavana Junction near Kotobabi Police Station. That is enough. Once you get to the Abavana Junction we will either pick you up or you can find the way using a detailed description which we is published on this platform (or can be sent to you on demand with the confirmation of your booking (Please print and carry it on you when you travel!).
Most importantly you should arrive safely and feel at home! Consequently please treat our place with the same care as you would your own. If despite all care something breaks please inform us as soon as possible. We'll try to find a reasonable replacement/ solution. Same goes for anything you find is missing.
We shall meet you personally on your arrival to show you around and hand-over keys to the apartment. You have unlimited access 24/7 - however, as the main gate will be locked at night, it may require to flag anticipated late night activities to the caretaker.
The apartment is undergoing a weekly cleaning interval during your stay. The cleaning is limited to shared rooms and facilities and DOES NOT include your rooms nor the washing of dishes! We'd kindly ask you to keep the space tidy. The final cleaning will be done by us when you leave.
This is a NON-SMOKING facility. However, you can easily step on the balcony if you do want to smoke.
Ghana is a country of frequent electricity outages. We are providing back-up for those hours as much as is reasonably possible.
Water and electricity are limited resources in Africa. Please make sure that devices are turned off when you leave the premises especially the ACs.
Please note that over-night guests other than those who have booked the apartment must be registered with us BEFORE their stay and are subject to an additional charge (as indicated in our ad).
We'll be happy to welcome you!
