My home is beside the east side of Knox Mountain, about 7 minutes to downtown Kelowna and the same distance to Orchard Park Shopping Mall, by car.
What you may enjoy about the place:
a)Knox Mt. cross-country running/hiking trails 50m away
b)super-automatic espresso machine (for coffee lovers)
c)gas stove & Broil King BBQ (for culinary lovers)
d)king-sized, comfortable bed
What you should take note of:
a)shared bathroom with tenant
b)stratified development-quieter community
My male roommate also lives here; he is personable, conscientious and clean. You would be sharing a three piece bathroom with him, if he is home at the time. There is also a guest half bathroom on the main floor, that is available for you to use.
Aside from your private room with a king-sized bed, please make yourself at home in the shared living room, kitchen and patio areas. PLEASE NOTE- The guest room is upstairs, in case climbing stairs is difficult, or not possible.
PLEASE NOTE PARKING-When my male tenant is away overnight (which I will communicate to you in advance, when possible), you are welcome to park in the carport ;otherwise, you will have to park in the designated guest parking spots on either side of the laneway (15 meters) from my door. If those spots are occupied, then there are additional spots at the back of the development, about 40 meters from my door, or on the road, about 150 meters away.
During the busy summer months, guest parking spots can be hard to find and you may be parking on the road for the duration of your stay; if mobility is an issue then this listing may not suit your needs. You can briefly park in front of the unit to unload your belongings etc. before parking your vehicle.
- Strata Community- quiet time after 10pm.
-No smoking or drug use on the premises.
-Thank you for not wearing your shoes in the house :)
-House is a newer build, thanks for not wearing your shoes inside and helping to keep it looking new!
I am a high school teacher by profession. When I am not working, I enjoy both relaxing at home and getting out to be active, like going for a run and travelling abroad, when possible.
Since I have a fairly spacious townhouse and one room sits empty most of the time, I thought Airbnb would be an opportunity to not only earn some extra money, but meet interesting people from different cities and parts of the world. So far that has turned out to be the case!
