My place is close to St Jorge Castle, Portas Do Sol, Rossio, Santa Apolónia train and metro station. You’ll love it for the light, the coziness, the best river view in town, the typical neighborhood of Alfama, the Fado music around. It is good for couples and families (with kids). Notice that the stairs to get up there and enjoy the fabulous view are steep, so take that in mind if you have children with you, if you have walking difficulties or if you are carrying very heavy luggage.
Magical light, never-ending horizon, a river almost an ocean.
I live 10 minutes away. If you need me and I can, I am glad to help with anything that might be needed.
Have in mind the steep steps, its a 3rd floor with no lift.
The Portuguese legislation makes it mandatory for the visitors to provide their identification, that the hosts have to communicate to the authorities in the 3 days following their arrival. So I ask your collaboration in providing those informations.
Alfama is a typical neighborhood, and local families live at the building. Respect your neighbours, specially during the night.
I am António, a portuguese living in Lisbon for more than 20 years. I teach psychology, and I am particularly interested in theatre, music and good food and wine. I am the father of an adolescent and we have our favorite traveling spot in the Azores Islands. We lived in the flat we are renting now for more than a decade and were very happy there. We hope you will be too.
