My home is situated in the Art District of Helsinki. It is spacious two storey open space loft apartment near the sea. There is a good public transport to the city center, with two trams and 3 buses going there.
Art Department of Aalto University is just around the corner. Also University of Helsinki can be easily reached by the tram. There are two food markets close by, and bigger ones little bit further away.
You can take walks by the seaside or go jogging in the nature, which is just few hundrend meters away. Nearby river mouth of Vantaa is also worth checking out. There you can find the oldest part of Helsinki, where it was founded by Swedish King Gustav I in the middle ages.
Bus stop is 50 meters from the door step. Buses 68 and 71 go to the Central Railway Station. Bus nr. 74 goes to Hakaniemi Market Square, which is very near the center. Bus nr. 506 goes to the Helsinki Fair Center.
Tram stop is hundred meters away. Tram nr. 6 or 6T goes past the Helsinki University and Central Railway Station, through the city center towards the Western Harbour. Tram nr 8 goes past the Opera House and goes to Jätkäsaari, near the Western Harbour.
