We are in the worlds first Eco Village designed on Permaculture principles. With two United Nations Awards. The house hold is a council approved guest house with long and short term guests who live more or less independently with the possibility to share a commercial kitchen and common eating area if they so choose. We share a food forest and large veggie garden. Bush Tea from the garden and community is a favourite activity on the deck.
A highly recommended two hour tour is offered for $50 for the first two people plus $10 per extra person.
Swim in the river, go for walks spotting the incredible range of wildlife with more than 200 species of birds.
Relax in hammocks, help in the garden or commercial kitchen. Make some jams, cakes drinks to share and take home....sculpt, paint, read in the library use the space.
We are happy for our guests to join with us as instant family as they like. If you want peace and quite there are plenty of places to find it. If you want to contribute with the day or weeks activity you are more than welcome. If you wish to contribute to the property in your own way then you will most likely be more than welcome but will need a little guidance and connection with Scott the owner or the guest house manager who took your booking.
Please be considerate of other guests and residents if there are any as they should be of you. The property attracts friendly, honest and safe people that tend to communicate more openly. We get a mix of very healthy people who are highly tolerant of others and people who are sometimes unwell and stressed in search of a refuge to rebuild themselves. More often than not we carry both energies with something to give and something to take. Love and tolerance towards others is a general key to building healthy strong community and connection. We look forward to sharing this beautiful environment with you

I grew up in a small village in the Lake District of England where i had my first contact with home grown food and respect for natural environments and wildlife. Moved to the sunny suburbs of Brisbane when i was 10 and wished for village community and living closer to wildlife.
Studied Urban and Regional Planning, developed a passion for indigenous culture, sustainable development and the growth of an Australian identity more closely connected to country.
Twenty years ago i came up with my masterplan. It has involved developing the worlds first commercially available variable pitch didgeridoo!!! yehaa
"Slide Didge (TM)" tuning the ancient didgeridoo sound, sympathetically resonating the world around us, sustaining a more fun pathway to a natural cultural vibe. Always happy to give a demo.
Soon after i developed.....
"WIld-Life Dreaming Tours" has been operating over the last 20 years helping support my love of adventuring in nature, discovering local history and sharing knowledge on pathways to grow more sustainable futures. Book a 2 hour tour of Crystal Waters $50 for the first 2 people $10 per additional.
For the last 15 years i have been developing a dream lifestyle worth living for.
Waterbreath Re Treat, an inspiring, tranquil, trans-formative space in the heart of Crystal Waters Eco Village. A unique co creative property where people share in the produce, knowledge and energy of the property and pay it forward to healthy sustainable communities of the future.
The aim of my game is to to help develop a network of "Eco Urbia" communities around the country. please join me in this development. A no brainer really. Retrofit Australian Suburban culture and environments to one that increases diverse natural habitat and biomass integration.
