We're walking distance to hiking, biking and X-country ski trails; good restaurants, beer gardens, cafés and bakeries; mountains for alpine skiing, snow-boarding and para-gliding. Nearby lakes offer boating and swimming; Neuschwanstein castle is just 20 minutes away. We're on a sunny slope with a large furnished balcony over-looking the town and the mountains. The apartment is comfortably and artistically furnished, and has a very well-equipped mini kitchen.
The apartment is comfortably and stylishly furnished with solid wood furniture, rich colors, and large original local photographs on canvas.

While my husband and I spend several months a year in Pfronten staying in the top-floor apartment, we may not be there when you are. But no worries, there is a very friendly Hausmeister, Igor Matic, to give you any help you need.

Our apartment was furnished with loving care. Please take good care of it. No pets or smoking allowed anywhere in the apartment including the balcony. When you are not using it, please put the privacy curtain on the balcony up. You will need to complete a registration card at check-in. Because Airbnb does not collect it for us, at checkout you will be responsible for paying a Tourist Tax of €2 per day per adult and €1.20 per child over six.

My husband Lothar Schuettler (yes, German) and I are happy, active seniors (75 and 72), who split our time between our home in Pfronten, Germany, and our home in Darnestown, Maryland, where my husband has a repair and restoration shop for worthy vintage BMWs. I think I am a frustrated travel agent--always planning our next trip (California, South Carolina, and Florida for car events; ocean cruises and river boat trips; and hopping off to different parts of Europe to drive a rally or explore some corner that looks interesting). If not traveling I'm editing the hundreds of photographs I took on our last trip.
