This campsite makes a great base camp for your Talkeetna adventure. The 2-person dome tent has a tarped entry and vestibule for your gear. Please note guests must supply their own bedrolls, utensils, food and drinking water. There is no bed. There is a campfire pit with a bundle of firewood. There is an outhouse. No running water.
Michael supplies the sauna with wood, the lake supplies the water. The dock is a perfect place to launch your canoe, cast for the big one, or sit and enjoy the sun. Hike, bike, visit Talkeetna, just 4 miles away. Talkeetna Lakes Park is just down the road.
Easy access for truck and trailer, just off the paved road.
The lake is steps away from your campsite. Great snow machine trails around Talkeetna. There is plenty of snow right now! The Talkeetna Lakes Park, just one mile down the road, has walking and biking trails. The public library is about two miles away. Historic Talkeetna is about four miles away. There is a wood-fired sauna available.
In Alaska's NotWinter, a small dock provides good swimming and canoe launching area. Great fishing, boat tours, hiking, biking, make Talkeetna a fun destination.

This is a primitive campsite. Outhouse only. No drinking water. Yes, the listing says there is a bed but, no, there is not a bed ( sorry, cannot enter zero beds in the App ). Campers should be prepared with all their own camping gear. Insect repellant is recommended! Firewood available for purchase.
No dogs or cats allowed. No cutting of any trees or brush. No fires outside designated fire rings. This is bear country! Guests must keep a clean camp. Pack in pack out! The Matsu Borough posts fire danger advisories and restrictions. All campers are responsible for complying with these restrictions.
