the penthouse has the best possible 270deg view of the grand harbour from the kitchen/living and adjacent terrace. you will just want to stay in the terrace and enjoy.

It is close to anything you need in the capital of malta - Valletta (2018 EU cultural capital) You’ll love it as all rooms are bright and airy, the comfy bed, the coziness, the kitchen, and the finishings.

It's good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

The apartment is amazing. Everything is brand new. It has a double oven & a caffettiera (Important for a coffee addict like me) and four towels per room. The bathroom is good but not great. There is no bidet. You need to step in & out of a very nice & very large bath to have a shower. I personally like a separate shower but the bathroom was very nice & clean and new. There is a washer & dryer for your clothes behind a large glass door in the bathroom. For two couples the place is great & would be good value. We were two individuals so we used both rooms. With only one bathroom, four people would be a logistical exercise though. It was perfect for two, but expensive for two. The little general store around the corner sells all the basics so is very handy. The restaurant / bar/ cafe / next to it is fantastic. We ate breakfast there every day. The coffee (Italian espresso) is the best in Malta. All of their food is 10 out of 10. you never need to cook. They also own the little bar on St Lucy Street outside the flat. So the food at the bar comes from the cafe. The bed in the main room is a super king so it is very comfortable. Like all beds in Europe it is very hard. I like this but some people don't. The second bedroom had a queen sized bed. All in all it is a great place. We didn't feel so safe with the balcony door lock being broken. But I am sure that Rene will fix it. There was also a missing glass panel in the baroque window of the main bedroom. It was a piece of cardboard. I am sure Rene will fax that too. It also needs a door handle on the bathroom. The private lift into the apartment is great. But never more than 2 people or one person & one suitcase. We did 3 people once & it struggled to reach the top. I'd hate for it to break down. The location couldn't be better. Always get the taxi's to pick you up & drop you off on the corner of St Paul and St Lucia because the taxis can easily get in and out of Valletta. I would struggle to think of a nicer place to spend an elegant time in Valletta. PS: also make sure you eat at the : King's Own Band Club Bar & Restaurant on Repubblica Street Everything was mindblowing, including the prosecco. We loved the place & our friends were staying around the corner were truly jealous.

Ausgezeichnete Lage für Valetta und Malta / 10 Min zum Busterminal und Fähren nach Sliema, etc. / mitten in der pulsierenden Altstadt / perfekte und ruhige Dachwohnung zum Chillen in den Morgenstunden und Abenden / einmalige Aussicht auf den Hafen / luxuriös und modern ausgestattet --> herrlich, was will man mehr!

The apartment is beautiful and the view is stunning, however the hosts poor communication has made our overall experience in Valletta less enjoyable. We had a couple of issues during our stay with wifi and a lack of toilet paper (which is a bit of an issue to find in Valletta when you don't know where to look!) and Rene was very slow to respond to queries, and often did nothing to help resolve them. If Rene improves his communication this would be a five star apartment.

A truly high-end split-level apartment with all mod cons (including Siemens washing machine and tumble dryer) and the most incredibly views. The private terrace is a huge bonus as is the private lift. The apartment is in a great location, just a stone's throw from St John's Co-Cathedral, the centre of Valletta and the Waterfront. Nothing is far away. The bedrooms have lots of storage, very comfortable beds and air conditioning which is essential for the very warm nights. As some reviewers have said, the apartment might not be suitable for more elderly guests as there's no hand rail on the stairs up to the living area. And getting in and out of the bath to shower could be tricky as there's no grab handle. But we had no problems. There were a few niggles but all are easily fixed - no handle on the inside of the bathroom door (or lock) making it difficult to close, and you'll also need to take a 30-pin to Lightening/other adaptor to listen to your music on the Bose sound system. Tip: take some ear plugs as the noise from the bar on the corner of the street can be noisy in the main bedroom on a Saturday night. Rene was a great host, organising a cab from the airport who also supplied the keys, which was perfect for our late check-in. He also met us one night to provide us with an extra set of keys and gave us some great restaurant recommendations (The Harbour Club was amazing). Would I stay here again? Definitely.

An brilliant place to stay in Valletta. Perfectly positioned, immaculately presented and with the most incredible view imaginable. The photos don't do it justice. I absolutely recommend staying here if you come to Valletta. Wonderful.

The view is incredible and the location perfect, half way between the bus station and Fort St. Elmo. The apartment is beautiful and very modern but it isn't quite designed for practical living. Eg: the 22 polished marble, winding staircase with no hand rail, no internal handle on the sliding bathroom door which was difficult to fully close, a kettle that nearly scalded you when you poured from it. The location was great but there is a small bar on the corner that plays music until midnight and 1am, not Sundays or the Monday we were there, public holiday. It's not too awful and you can only hear it from the bedroom. the patrons, I suspect locals, are not loud. The street is otherwise quiet and not a major thoroughfare. There is a small shop around the corner for the very basics and a good take-out pizzeria next to that. We did find a good greengrocers on our wanderings one day but could never find it again! There are very few food stores in Valletta. The key pick up really is 8pm, that is not a misprint, so rather inconvenient plus we were kept waiting 30 minutes. Would we stay there again - possibly, the view was amazing. I have been a bit nit picking but the apartment wasn't cheap and some of the suggestions we had for Rene are easily remedied.

Incredible flat and location in the heart of Valletta. Only issue was that the fridge and freezer were broken.
