The two bedroom 'Tolbooth' is a modern and well-equipped apartment located in a quiet courtyard in the historic Old Town of Edinburgh, only 1 minute walk from the Royal Mile and 5 minutes walk from Waverley train station. The apartment has been fully renovated and comes with free private parking and wireless internet.
A quiet and modern two bedroom apartment on the second floor of a courtyard development on a historical close in Edinburgh's Old Town. The apartment is only a few meters from the famous Royal Mile and 10-15 minutes walk from city centre attractions and many bars, restaurants and shops.
The apartment has underground parking, free wireless internet and central heating.
Bright and spacious with large windows overlooking the courtyard. There is a double sofa and two armchairs, plus a dining area for four. There is also a 40" flat screen TV with Freeview channels and a DVD player.
Kitchen is well equipped with a clothes washer and drier, fridge/freezer, oven and cooking stove. There is also a microwave, kettle and toaster. All cutlery, pots and pans and crockery is provided. There is tea and coffee and milk. In the cupboards and the fridge you will find basic cooking items like sauces, salt, pepper, olive oil, rice and pasta.
Accessed from the hall is the bathroom, where you'll find a bath with shower over, WC and hand basin. Scottish toiletries are provided.
The two bedrooms - both with double beds and pocket sprung mattresses - have drawer units and full length mirrors. One bedroom also has large fitted wardrobes where you will find an ironing board and iron. Each bedroom has a hairdryer in the top drawer.
To make it easy and stress free the keys to the apartment can be found in the lock box. You will receive details of how to access the keys approx. 1 week before you arrive. The whole apartment is yours to enjoy during your stay and you are free to come and go as you please.

The building has a lift/elevator but this needed regular maintenance and unfortunately I cannot guarantee this will be working for the full duration of your stay.
Please respect the apartment and look after it as if it were your own. Take care not to stain or damage the walls or floors.
Anything that is broken should be replaced before leaving, or paid to be replaced.
Please wash all used plates, cups etc. and put these back in the cupboards.
All windows should be closed when you are not in the apartment.
Please place all used towels in a pile on the bathroom floor before you check out.
IF THE KEY REMOTE FOR THE CAR PARK IS LOST OR TAKEN AWAY A £50 CHARGE WILL BE TAKEN FROM YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT.
